Cheryl Vacation is my thing.
Loved this place.
Best feature was being right on the beach; just what we were looking for. Excellent room size and even the River View was wonderful. The outdoor dining and pool areas were beautifully decorated and laid out with plenty of seating options. The only drawback might have been the speed of food service, but all in all very positive. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. One of the better places we have stayed. Excellent value for the money; we would certainly go back if we visit that area again.

Next door to the resort was a different restaurant on the 29th floor; not the same facility. It had Drammatic Ocean and River Views and excellent food. We would go there again if we stayed at the Shores.

Always a pleasure
This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first visit. We love the fact that the back door opens up to a beautiful view of the water Nd a great place to relax. The bed is super comfy and the room is spacious. Got to say the shower is heavenly!!! You don't want to get out after a nice swim in the ocean! Love the Shores, look forward to our next visit!

Ponce de Leon park is about one hour Way near Deland. Best little restUrant where you can cook your own pancakes! Love it!!

Beautiful resort.
We were traveling with our adult children. The resort was beautiful. We were in a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool. It was well worth the extra money. The other room was on the 8th floor and I was told it was very nice also.

Rest for the soul
this was the perfect getaway for a person with a chaotic lifestyle. The common areas were buzzing with lots of fun folks, but the room areas were quiet as as can be. the facilities deserve more than 5 stars and the staff was beyond amazing. For the price, this place is a STEAL! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone and everyone I know.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time, and I can say again it was excellent. Staff was incredible and the hotel is very nice.They have a very good restaurant and the location is nice.
