Westgate Town Center

We stayed in their most basic suite. Room was very clean. Bathroom was spacious with a Jacuzzi tub and large shower. Our balcony was a little small, but had table and chairs and was completely screened in which was nice. Other suites had larger balcony's. The pools were heated and well maintained except the kiddie pools, they were ice cold. Over all, the resort was was very nice and had plenty of activities. It was set of the main road about a half mile and only 6 miles from Disney. Just be aware they try and sign you up right away for a time share sales pitch. Firmly decline if your not interested. Setting through will get you the best discounted ticket if you plan on going to numerous parks. We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

Made reservations right at the 30 day window and booked a 2bd, 2 bath room. Read the reviews about checkin taking a long time, however that was not my experience. We arrived on a holiday weekend, after 6 pm and their were only a few people in line although the resort was busy. It does feel like a town and had a neighborhood feel. The staff was courteous and friendly. Our stay was perfect except for the toddler above us who was always running or crying. I considered moving but my hubby liked the room ( with a lake view and enclosed patio) that he didn't want to take the chance on not getting a better view. So we stayed and absolutely enjoyed it. Bob Rice was our representative and there was never a heavy sales pitch or pressure. We do plan on staying on our next trip. From now on when we travel, I'm checking for the Westgate Resorts in the area first. Let this be your first choice when traveling to Disney. Everything is right there and there are activities for the kids. We didn't get to do all the things we wanted to on site because there is so much.

It's a time share community not a resort. There in business to sell you a time share. No repeat visit to this place for us.

It took a long time to check in and the front desk staff are very misleading. I had called previously to ask what type of room do I have and what types of beds I have. They told me I was booked for one of the high rise buildings that were new. However when I got there and checked in, they stuck us in an old villa at the far end of the resort. They told us to return in the morning after 10 am to change the room. When we returned, they told us to return again after 4 pm. They never changed our room. Also the beds and pillows are awful and the windows would not open. The shower temperature couldn't be controlled either. Very disappointed.

My grandson and I really enjoyed our stay here. it was a great place to come back to after a day at the Disney Parks.

Had access to spring training b-ball. Nice pool. Best breakfast buffet. Got car and room for not much money and us seniors really appreciate that. A little too close to Disney which was great for families, not so much for codgers.

This hotel was AWESOME!!!!! It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have lots of things to do and we will be making a return trip.

My husband and I have been looking forward to this vacation for quite some time. We went to Florida to watch our daughter during her college softball spring training practice. I was somewhat concerned about staying at the Town Center after reading the reviews on various websites but we decided to stay anyway. We were fortunate enough to miss the dreaded one hour check-in that has been written in so many posts. We should have known we were in trouble when we were shuttled to a gentleman who spoke with a very heavy accent and were signed up for a "tour". Being told that the tour would last 90 minutes, my husband I decided to attend as Wednesday was our free day from softball. Fess, our tour guide, was very informative if what I was there to hear was all about his previous customers and the numerous deals he has made in his tenure at Westgate. The tour, which lasted 3 hours, ended with Fess, arguing with my husband I for not purchasing the timeshare immediately. He brought over the "head sales manager" who spoke to us like we were uneducated people buying a used car. After insisting on speaking with the manager in charge of the facility, we were told that this practice is completely acceptable but Fess would be reported to the sales director. My husband and I were very disappointed as to the behavior of most of the people employed at Westgate. It did put a damper on our trip for the day and became a topic of conversation for the rest of the vacation. The accommodations at Westgate were ok. The room had that funny stale hotel smell but other than that it was acceptable. Housekeeping came twice to leave clean towels on the sofa and take the dirty towels from the hooks on the back of the door. We never used the amenities but did see them from the lanai view of the sand volleyball court. If you are planning to vacation at Westgate I greatly recommend that you avoid the "dog and pony" show about the timeshares and stick with coming and going to your destination.

First impression when I opened the room was "cleanliness" the room smelled clean! looked clean! and felt clean! I'm a mom of two little kids so this is a very important matter to me. The hotel was nice, inside a beautiful resort! loved the experience! and most of all I was very surprised to get it for the price we got. It was very spacious and comfortable.
