Days Inn Miami Airport North

The rooms are small, carpet stained, bathrooms very small, the place is dirty and worn out. There is smell of mold in the room. Free airport shuttle runs only once per hour. On the plus side they have free wifi and the hotel is very close to the airport. I even earned some airline miles at the very cheap $52 rate. I guess your cannot expect any better facility for such a low rate. You get what you pay for.

I chose the hotel because of the "Days Inn" name. Boy was I disappointed. Waited at the airport for 45 minutes before the shuttle showed up. Called the hotel 3 times. Was told the shuttle ran every hour from the hotel to the airport. Had a 7:45 flight. Was in the lobby at 5:45 for the 6 am shuttle. The first left at 5:50 and was full. The persons waiting ahead of us was going to fill the next trip. Ended up calling for a taxi and got to the airport at 6:20 am.

Room had a damp sour smell was small dirty carpet

Due to bad weather at Dallas/Fort Worth we only got to spend approx. 5-6 hrs there the staff that helped out was ok nothing special

I stayed here for two nights to do some shopping. beds are very comfy but if your not an early riser you'll be disturbed by the noise in the morning. my room was next to the 36th street on the 2nd floor main building. as stated staff very helpful.

Just to sleep close to the airport, and to use the suttle. The heater of our room didn't work. We ask for 2 ours more for the check out and they acced because of the cold night we had.

The room could have been cleaner. The carpet was extremely dirty.

The good news is that the hotel is very convenient to stay in the night before a cruise. We walked a few blocks to IHOP to eat and took the free hotel shuttle to the port in the morning. The price was very good for a one night's stay. There is a beautiful,large outdoor pool with lots of chairs to occupy some sun time. The bad points are that we found the room to be small and the bed had some sort of crinkly mattress cover that rattled all night which was very annoying. The room was clean but more like a dorm room than a luxurious suite. We stayed on superbowl Sunday and the game did not come in on our television! I would not book there for an extended stay but for a pre-cruise night it was the best value in town!
