Grand Beach Hotel

Mukava hotelli. Sijainti vähän syrjässä, mutta kauppa ja jotain palveluita löytyi kävelymatkan päässä ja busilla liikkui kätevästi etelään ja pohjoiseen.

huoneen vaalea kokolattiamatto hiukan nuhjuinen. aamiainen hyvä mutta kallis. samoin kaikki syöminen ja juominen hotellissa. auton parkki 29 dollaria vrk. respassa koko ajan ruuhkaa, kamala jonotus jos piti jotain tiedustella, samoin check in kesti ja kesti. äänieristys huoneissa olematon, ulko-oveen jäi rako suljettuna... altaiden aurinkotuolit nuhruiset ja patjat märät yöllisen sadekuuron jäljiltä. sijainti hyvä, aivan rannassa.

My wife and I went to Miami Beach for the first time and stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel. We had an amazing week of stay. We had the King suite with partial ocean view and it was a beautiful view of both the bay and the ocean. The room was comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The adult pool was serene and an excellent place to lounge on a sunny afternoon. Could not have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Miami.

We stayed here for a Girls' Weekend April 20-22, 2013. The hotel has a great location right on the beach and is a short cab ride away from South Beach. The disappointment we had was with the service at the hotel, the subpar amenities and some broken glass in one of the bedrooms and balconies of our suite. Clearly, the room was only partially cleaned before we checked in. We informed housekeeping and the front desk and still had to call 3 times to get our room cleaned. The valet service was very slow, which is expected with a full hotel, but instead of apologizing for the delay, the valets were griping and no one holds the door for you (car or other). Several times, the valet just handed me my keys and didn't help us into the car with our bags. The espresso bar in the lobby is consistently and painstakingly slow - no one should have to wait 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee. The attendants on the beach were great with towels, chairs and umbrellas, but there was no staff in site at the 7th floor tranquility pool and no dry towels either. Our room was very spacious and we would probably stay here again for the location, but if you do, don't expect 4 star anything at this hotel.

Staff didn't point out 18% gratuity was included and accepted tips-other establishments pointed out. Room had dirty spo.ts on linen furniture and headboard. Breakfast omlette had penne pasta by accident in it (?) and I witnessed a waiter picking his nose :O(. It was an overpriced Miami hotel with a gorgeous bay view

One of the rare occasions that a hotel far exceeded my expectations based on what I had seen on the internet... Their tag line is accurate, "Affordable Luxury."

Great experience right from the start. We arrived back early from a cruise and the hotel allowed us to check in early around 11am. Spacious and clean accommodation, great view from the balcony and two baths really helped with the kids. The kids loved the pool and easy access to the beach.Parking was a bit expensive but the valet service worked very well. The Concierge, Claude, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This hotel was not exceptional, the room on the last floor was noisy. Staff not polite.

I had several issues with this hotel. Number one is that I was given the partial oceanview room for the price of an ocean vew room. I upgraded from the partial ocean view to the ocean view and got the same partial ocean view. Does't make any sense. Anyway, the staff made it look like I have no idea what I was booking, and they said the full ocean view is called ocean front. Very disappointing. Also, the room I was given initially had a wet floor and moldy smell, but they gave me another room quickly at my request. Also, the rooms are quite worn off. I booked the hotel for over $400/night and expected more for that. They have very expensive mini bar items in the room, and charge a lot for those. And overall you don't have that feeling of a 4-star hotel, even though they have a very nice restaurant, snack bar and great beach.

The hotel was very clean and roomy. There was 4 of us at the hotel (2 couples). We had 2 beds, 2 TVs and best of all 2 bathrooms!! The only Downer was the cost of food and drinks. A can of soda was 4 dollars and a water was also about that much! There was no soda machines either so drinks alone got costly. The food on the other hand was not too expensive and there was a nice restaurant downstairs. Staff was friendly and the pools were gorgeous! There was even a 21+ pool which was nice for relaxing and not listening to kids running around.
