Palisades Resort

Lomamatkamme oli kahden viikon mittainen tässä hotellissa. Meitä oli 4 aikuista ja käytössämme oli 3 makuuhuonetta, olohuone, 2 kylpyhuonetta eli n. 100 m2 + samanlsuuruinen parveke. Asuntomme oli tosi siisti, viihtyisä, keittiökoneet- ja kalusteet vaikutti aivan uusilta. Sängyt leveät, vedet kuumat, ilmastointi toimi. Mannermainen aamupala oli miellyttävä yllätys. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Lomamme oli helmikuun lopulla ja asiakkaita oli vähän, joten hotelli oli todella rauhallinen ja me saimme suuremman asunnon kuin olimme varanneet. Hotellissa oli sauna, uima-allas ja poreallas ulkona sekä pieni kuntosali. Koska oli vähän asiakkaita, kaikkiin pääsi mukavasti. Mitään melua tai häiriöitä ei kuulunut. Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä lomaamme Palisades-Hotellissa. Ainoa haitta oli sijainti, ilman bussiyhteyttä. Onneksi oli vuokra-auto käytettävissä.

We had a nice stay for a week. Good price for a large 2 bedroom suite. We would stay again.it was nice to have breakfast every morning. The staff was helpful. The place was quite and a way from the busy traffic. I would prefer a heated pool, and the kitchen could have used more cooking supplies.

This was a more than forgettable stay!!!!!! The room was NEVER cleaned before our arrival. The carpet was stained and dirty, we found a banana that was at least a month old in one of the cupboards. There was dried found on the walls under the breakfast bar, cockroaches in the bathroom, dead frogs in the bedrooms, etc. I wouldn't recommend this resort to my worst enemy!!!!

This resort was fine for most things like convenience to Disney, cleanliness and staff. The rooms were large including the bathrooms and two balconies (we had an end unit). There were also ample towels in the bathrooms. The road that runs in front of the building is quite noisy due to concrete trucks making runs to the local company. The appliances were average at best with a coffee maker that says "have your first cup on us", but no coffee to brew. The dishwasher was also a low quality item. The resort is very long with only two elevators in the middle of the building, so if you're at the end of the hallway it's a bit of a trek to get to them. The A/C made a real racket at times although it was cool enough outside during our stay that we didn't run it often. The pool and hot tub were very nice and towels were provided. WE stayed during the middle of March and the resort was not crowded at all so I can't comment on noise etc. when the place is full with guests. Parking was covered which was very nice. All in all we spent most of our time at Disney and surrounding attractions so the few possible drawbacks mentioned above were not of great consequence to us. I would consider it a good value.

the palisades has very roomy and clean rooms. we stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. very nice but the beds were very uncomfortable. the fridge was very noisy and the road has alot of noisy traffic.and is kind of far away from attractions, we had to allow at least 45-60 min. to get to owc. all in all it was a great place.

This resort has many positive aspects. The units are very spacious and the staff is nice and helpful. We were thrilled with the size of the rooms especially the bathrooms and the kitchen. The biggest negative was the quality and noise of the mattress. The bed was very uncomfortable to the point that I had to take Tylenol and muscle relaxers every night to be able to sleep. Another negative is the noise from the road outside especially noticeable in the morning when you are trying to sleep and the people are commuting to work. The carpets need a deep cleaning but the rest of the suite seemed well kept. Overall I would stay again but I wouldn't pay more than I did. We enjoyed our visit.

Rooms were very spacious but if you were on the front side of the hotel, the traffic is loud. Pool side is much more quiet. Pool was not heated so it was ice cold. Beds had cheap mattresses that squeaked. Linens were scratchy. Continental Breakfast was just pre-packaged bagels, muffins, danish, and some apples and oranges.

The "free Internet" is only on the first floor by the lobby/breakfast area, not in the rooms. The breakfast was very lacking. Choices of four breakfast snack cakes or apple or banana, juice and coffee. I was surprised by some of the common things in the room that you typically find that just were not there, like lotion, or a dishcloth to use at the kitchen sink. One of the chairs in our common area was broken with springs hanging out underneath. The beds were comfortable but we'll stay elsewhere next time.

The breakfast was very light not much there. And the parking garage was very tight to get in and out of we had a mini van. Other than that the staff was very friendly and we were comfortable. Haid dryer was on off switch was missing so couldn't change setting had to plug in to turn on and unplug to turn off. But we didn't take to front desk we just used it that way. We would definitely stay there again. For price it was great deal . Would recommend.
