Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina

The Marriott Wareside was very clean and quiet. The sports bar inside the hotel was nice, good bar food and nice service. The other two resteraunts seemed over-priced for what they offered. The room's AC worked well, but you need to adjust the vents yourself, so the cold air blows into the middle of the room and not onto the wall. Nice views from the room. A couple of nice places to eat within walking distance. A few good drinking spots as well. For those interested, there is a reall thatched cottage, Irish bar, close by ($ Green Fields). A few blocks from the cruise terminal( $10 cab ride with tip). Nice pool and small gym. Not bad overall.

The Marriott Tampa Waterside was a much better hotel than I had expected. My room was ready at noon even though the check-in time was 4pm. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the bed was a bit springy- I thought I was going to bounce out the window when I got into bed. For me the location was great because I was in town to take the Florida Bar Exam @ the Tampa Convention Center and the hotel is an easy walk across the street. My only real gripe is that it's not well disclosed that the only parking is valet at $insane per day. Otherwise, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Concierge could have been better at listening to explicit needs in suggesting dinner spots- we asked for a more upscale Italian rest. and several were suggested....but no serious direction as to quality or ambience. Room was a bit dated but the bathroom was very well lit, and the lovely counetr was well attended by the maid staff. Met the manager in the sports bar and he was more than kind and chatted with us about a local hockey player of interest to us.

I have some issues in the room, the first time you see the hotel is really pretty, but if you walk into the room some of the things like the bathroom looks old, everything looks antique etc; i will recomended to be focus in the decoration & the cleaning of the room. That will make people have a good impression of the hotel. But in general everything was beautiful outside of the room.....

Well run property, close to everything downtown. Friendly staff. I had a difficult time finding it at first, due to navigation system, but pleased after I got situated.

Great stay here and also got a great deal booking through orbits. The hotel is really nice it's in downtown so my friends and I caught the trolley to Ybor city and Channelside to enjoy the city. We were a few miles from most attractions but the beach is a little far but worth the 20 minute drive. The pool was gorgeous at any part of the day and if you like to drink there are 3 bars in the lobby excluding the restaurants. I would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in Tampa!!

A wonderful hotel and excellent value when purchased as part of our trip package. The hotel had all the amenities and was close to other shpping, restaurants, and bars. Definitely would stay there again and highly recommend it to other Orbitz users.

I thought the hotel was great. The valet service was efficient. When you first walk in you are greeted and directed to the check-in. The room was clean with the exception of one spot on the white comforter. However, having white comforters is nice because you can really tell they are clean. The elevators move pretty fast, which is nice. The pool, bar and spa are all kept beautifully.
