Satisfactory Over Nighter

Stayed here while in town for Final 4. Price was right. Clean and quiet. Shuttle service to Airport to catch the train to downtown venues was a nice perk!

Unexpected Layover due to Hurricane Sandy

My flight was through JFK from Rome but had to be changed to Rome, London, Atlanta, Portland, OR. I was able to get a discount voucher for this hotel and directions to a free shuttle bus from Delta Airlines. I was pleasantly surprised at the large room I was given. Basically was there for sleep and a shower but was happy with everything. Of course the best is the southern hospitality. The restaurant is more cafeteria style furnishings and the complimentary breakfast was very southern (high fat/butter). I was able to get a bowl of cereal and a cheese danish and some orange juice which was fine with me. Remember it is complimentary. I had a good night's sleep and no fly over noise.

Good for the price

The hotel has everything I needed but I felt like in the 80's... The staff was extremely polite and helpful.

Conference

I didn't spend much time in the hotel, I was there to sleep and shower only. The shower didn't work well and the water dripped all night. I can't tell you anything else. The shower is very important...! The front desk staff was very nice,and helpful, especially the gentlemen that check me me in, Thank you.

Easy to find

Location of this hotel is ideal for getting to major Highway and is with in minutes drive to Airport. Forget about the continental breakfast.

This is a decent airport hotel

This is a decent airport hotel with very nice personnel but it was far too noisy for me to enjoy my stay. After reading several extremely favorable reviews on other websites I expected far more than the hotel had to offer. It is a fairly clean, basic hotel with very poor sound insulation.

My stay at the Quality Inn

I checked into the hotel on August 16th at 11:00pm. I was assigned a room on the 5th floor. When I went to the room, I found that it was occupied. I returned to the front desk and informed the young lady of the situation. She then, assigned me to room 629. I went to the room, but the key card didn't work. I informed the people at the front desk. They were very polite. The young lady reset the card and asked another employee to assist me to the room.The cable television was not working for one of the days during my stay. The next day, my wife brought it to my attention that the refrigerator didn't work. An hour or so later, a member of the hotel staff stopped by the room to collect linen and towels. I told her we would not need the room cleaned but we do need towels. We went out shortly after. At 11:30pm, we returned to the hotel. The children were sleep. My wife and I were carrying them in our arms. The front doors of the hotel were locked. The person at the front desk had to let us in. We went directly to our room. When we got to the room, we noticed the towels were not there. I went to the front desk to inform the employee that I hadn't received towels and also to inform her about the broken refrigerator. (I forgot to mention it earlier.) When I told her about the two discrepancies, she rolled her eyes, smirked and said, "So, you just now realized that you ain't got no towels?" I was shocked! I told her I had just gotten in. (She opened the door for us). She replied with a condescending tone, "So you haven't been here all day? I told her no. I'm out here visiting family. My time is limited. She cut me off before I could finish. She asked if the refrigerator was working yesterday. I told her it was not. Her facial expression and body language communicated shock and amazement. At this point I was upset. She told me if I have any discrepancies I should bring them to the front desk during the day. She told me the only rooms that are supposed to have refrigerators are the suites. (Not True.) She then, insisted that I switch rooms. I told her, "My wife and I are tired, we have two sleeping children. We are not moving rooms tonight. We went back and forth a bit. She got another employee to get me the towels and a refrigerator. The next day I spoke with the Manager. He understood my frustration and advised me to make a written statement. He assured me he would get it to the General Manager. The main reason I feel it is necessary to make the statement is because of that one person. The rest of the staff has been very helpful and polite. Despite the problems we've had, they have worked hard to improve the quality of the hotel. I do understand that things happen. The staff was able to work quickly to correct the deficiencies.
