I like staying there

Hotel personals are very nice, and services are usually very quick. My 2-year old son had a slight high temperature the first day, and Ken in the front desk provided many useful clinic contacts to me in addition to some general sincere help. The location of the hotel is so close to the Waikiki beach, and the view is incredible from my room. The hotel is a little old, and the size of the room is a little small, but that's understandable given the fact that it is a 2-star hotel.

The room was small but adequate for one person. The only thing I had a problem with was the bed. It was firm, really firm, hard! Everything else was great!

The Room was cosy. They only change the towels every 4 days to conserve energy I guess, but when I leave them on the floor it would be nice to get clean ones hung. Otherwise the Hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and central shopping area. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

This was a great hotel with a great price! The staff was very polite and respectful and quickly helped us to get to our room for a quiet and restful evening. The hotel was clean and overall an enjoyable atmosphere.

The bluest water i have ever seen

The first words out of my mouth walking up to the hotel was "This is a budget hotel?" When I think of a budget hotel I think of Eddy Street in downtown San Francisco, where I lived for 32 years. This hotel was great and I was pleasantly surprised. I loved swimming in the pool after ocean swimming, I tried the Jacuzzi, and we played pool one afternoon. Our room was on the 16th floor facing west so we saw some ocean, some sunsets, buildings lit up, and mountains to the north. Qualifying guests had a continental breakfast included which unfortunately we did not have. Another plus is the fridge. We bought breakfast and lunch foods and kept our eating out to around one meal daily for our two-week stay. One day we played cards in the patio at round tables off the lobby. Since I don't own a laptop I couldn't take advantage of free Internet in the lounge. Extra towels can easily be checked out on the second floor. There are two banks of elevators for groups of floors. We always found the staff friendly and accessible. I would absolutely stay here again. The beach is a straight shot through the beautiful Fort DeRussy grounds and is minutes away. I have never seen a hotel without lobby doors and this one has three separate entrances.

well this was my first time visiting hawaii. and i have got to say it is a beautiful place. it is a bit pricey to shop and dine. the hotel had a good little bar on the fifth floor. good prices. the only bad thing about the hotel was you had to pay for parking. 18.00 a day. and the internet was 11.00 a day as well. so that was the down side. but i stayed on the 44th floor facing waikiki beach and i loved the veiw in the day and evening. the room was small but doable. half the time i was out walking around.

We are most interested in exploring the whole island and getting away from the tourist crowds of Waikiki. The location of this hotel is perfect for easy access to downtown and highways, yet it also offers views of the ocean. Also, the hotel is a short walk from the lights, restaurants, and shopping of Waikiki. I personally like Lanais in my room, but this hotel didn't offer this and the window only opened about 6 inches due to the room being on the 35th floor. All in all, the stay was a great value, and i would go back for that reason.
