The Maile Sky Court Hotel also has a tropical sun deck with an outdoor pool and hot tub. It is very close to the nearby AquaSPA facilities and the Hawaii Convention Centre. It is a fifteen minute drive to Pearl Harbor.

Perfect room and friendly staff
I have always stayed at the Maile Sky Court Hotel when I visit friends in Oahu. It is a great location and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are standard but they fit my needs. They are clean, comfortable and affordable. The only issue I had this visit was the bed would shake at times like an earthquake when the people in the next room moved around. Other than that it was wonderful. Not to mention I was upgraded to an ocean view room with a kitchentte. I loved it!

Short walk from hotel
Just a short walk to the beach, there is a wonderful place that rents Kayaks and Paddle Boards. They will take pics and video of your adventures. The beach is so nice and the water is very clear and calm. You can swin and snorkel for hours and the water is warm. There is also a place next to the beach that sells the best mai tai's. They are truly the best!

The locations was great. The service was good. The room was small but for the price you can't beat it. I would recommend the hotel for a short visit.

Comfortable hotel in good location
The hotel room overall was nice. Obviously this isn't a five star hotel given the price and age, but it provides most necessities. The room was comfortable, TV available. Free wireless access available in the lobby is helpful. It's a short walk from the beach and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants in the area, as well as easy access to other areas of Honolulu via walking, bus, or driving. Staff is respectful, during the day and late at night. Overall, it is a good choice for someone on a budget that doesn't need more than basic essentials of a hotel room (given it's not a luxury hotel or suite-style locale.)

The closest to a 5 star hotel
I recently returned to Hawaii from Australia to be reunited with family. I was very impressed with the front desk and their willingness to accomodate my two unscheduled room extensions. Two of the reasons why I chose the hotel are 1) I got a great deal with room charges (50% off) and 2) I had a great previous stay in the hotel.

We drove to hiking trails and beaches around the island and with the GPS unit in our car it was always an easy drive out of town.
