Outrigger Reef on the Beach

Dass man für die Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme am Hotelstrand 40$ bezahlen muss ist übertrieben. Ausserdem ist der Strand sehr schmal sodass es nie Platz hat für alle Hotelgäste.

The room we stayed in was extremely clean, had new furnishings and great amenities. However, we had a view of the building across from us that was about 15 feet away. We did not anticipate a beach view - but being that close made us keep curtains shut the whole time so people could not see in. It took away from being able to enjoy fresh air/sunlight. Otherwise - the location was right across from lots of shopping and dining. There ware 3 different bars/restaurants in the hotel - which had great happy hour specials!! ($3.50 for mai tais). The pool is set back far from the beach - so you don't get the hawaii feel if you want to be in pool.

Staff was amazing, location was perfect. I was very satisfied.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days in March 2013. It is in a perfect location. We didnt even rent a car. You could walk to everything or take the bus. Free internet which was a really good signal. They give you a coupon book for a lot of 50% off things, which we used for breakfast in the hotel's restaurant "shore bird." It was an all you can eat for $16 a person. We got really full on breakfast then skipped lunch a few days. They have a pool and THREE hot tubs! You can not take alcohol out onto the beach though so we had to pour some into water bottles. sshhhh.When you walk out the back of the hotel, you are on the beach. The hotel was priced the same as the surroundng hotels. We absolutely fell in love with the weather, friendly people, and good food. We are looking at houses in a few months :)

Could'nt ask for a nicer staff, from the conciere to the cleaning staff, everyone was very pleasent. The location couldnt be any better and the resterants on the property were great. Would recomend the outrigger to anyone going to Waikiki.

We had just come from the Ritz in Maui, so maybe this hotel had that going against them. I only booked this hotel because of the location, which was nice. There were plenty of things to walk to. There were also restaurants and shops in the lobby, which was very convenient. My main disappointment was the room. I booked a 2 double bed room, with a pullout, but when I arrived, they only had 1 king. They were sold out, so had no other rooms, which left us without enough sleeping space. Overall, for the price, it was just meh. If it's location you want, then go for it, but nothing special about the rooms. They were clean at least.

I wanted to thank my dad for his many years of providing for the family and this hotel stay helped to show my appreciation. He was pleased at the the quality of the materials in the hotel room. As an engineer, he commented on the fine craftsmanship of the furniture and the quality air conditioner system (not the cheap systems found in other hotels). He's quirky, I know, but since he was overall very happy, I was too!

Very nice friendly staff and clean rooms. Good beach access.
