Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and great location. Amazing view of Diamond Head! The only drawback was that being on the main drag, if you had a window open at night you could hear the trolleys and other noises (people yelling/laughing, etc...).

I stayed three different hotels for one family vacation in Waikiki. This was the best for family in terms of price and location.

We celebrated our anniversary as well as Christmas. Couldn't ask for better food and the staff was great. Menu proces a bit high but after all it is Hawaii. Had a great time. Already planning to go back again this Christmas and will stay here again!

Really good location, sea view rooms are good. Pool, gym, restruants all make it convuniet for tourists.

The bed was terrible - too lumpy! I didn't sleep at all. My bad - I probably should have asked to change rooms but I loved the view.

Wonderful hotel - very clean, safe and staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice view of Diamond Head and ocean. Beautifully layed out with open air lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

The beach across the Marriott is perfect for young kids. Very shallow water, no waves and a lot of sand for making castles! You can also rent umbrellas for shade. We upgraded to a larger room in the beach-facing tower of the Marriott. The room was ok but a little outdated (carpet - no double sink) and the beds way to soft for us (we like firm). Overall, the room was fine except you do not have any privacy on the balconies of this Marriott. Where ever you are you will see others balconies. We did not care but that could be an issue for some.

We really enjoy our stay at the Marriott at Waikiki. The staff are welcoming and we always see the same staff, each year we go back! We will be back a 5th time, for sure!

Staff was excellent. Good location next to beach and other opportunities for fun. Wife and I, and 2 of our adult children were on vacation. We originally booked for 4 people (2 double beds), kids were planning on trading off sleeping in 2nd bed (trying to save a few pennies). Guy at the counter upgraded our room to King and 2 doubles plus 2 bathrooms for no charge ( I didn't even ask). Walked to Diamondhead only a couple of miles. Easy access to "The Bus" and shuttle pick up at lobby. We rented a car and parked it over night at a public garage to avoid 30.00 parking charge at hotel, It was only 7.00 if you pick up before 6:00 am, and just a few blocks down the road. Great restaraunts all up and down the main road within easy walking distance. 3 snorkel trips 2 times to Hanauma Bay and once to Ko Olina (snorkeling is a must do), weeks rental for gear per person was 37.00 from Snorkle Bob's. (mile walk from Marriott). Parasailed with Hawaii Parasail 1000 feet from boat (great outfit) picked up and dropped us off at resort (50.00 each). Pearl Harbor was awesome (get there early and it is well worth the 7.50 for the audio tour). Punchbowl Cemetary was special too, got to meet a Pearl Harbor survivor a day before the 70th anniversery of the attack.
