Holiday Inn Express CHICAGO - MAGNIFICENT MILE

I and my best friend just visited Chicago for the first time on our vacations. If you don't mind a small room, I really would definately recommend to stay and enjoy Chicago at Holiday Inn Express CHICAGO - MAGNIFICENT MILE because it is clean, and located in the great area you could walk around to famous Signseeing as well as to Business Area!

Rooms are small, but our time was spent outside the room touring Chicago. A good value for a last minute, well-located "cozy" room.

Other reviews I read on this hotel complained about the staff, size of the rooms and noise from the adjacent rooms, but I found the staff ALL very friendly and helpful. The rooms ARE small, but that's what you expect in Times Square area, so it didn't surprise me that the Magnificent Mile would be the same. You can hear the showers running and doors closing in adjacent rooms, but as a frequent traveler, that doesn't bother me much -- at least it was clean! The worst thing about it in my opinion was that the bed sagged in the middle. If you're looking for a quiet B&B type setting, go somewhere else! But if you just need a good, comparatively affordable place to crash near the center of everything in Chi-Town, this is a good option. Free breakfast is a nice bonus!

Located close to Michigan Ave to catch the buses, shop, walking distance to most attractions, close to many resturants, close to the red line train. A very convenient home base for a weekend in Chicago to see the attractions.

Location is great, daily compliementary breakfast is a positive for staying here. It eliminated any problem trying to locate a breakfast stop. The rooms are very small and the road noise at night can be very disturbing. If you want to spend any time in your room other than sleeping this would not be the spot for you, otherwise it works great if you are out and about. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

Although it was a great location (about 1.5 blocks from Magnificent Mile/Michigan Ave), the room was VERY small, and the shower was basically 1 jet stream of water (and more of a drip, not steady). Definitely cheaper than surrounding hotels in the area, good for a single traveller who is only planning to sleep there for a night. Close to good restaurants, and the included hot breakfast was pretty good.

Great location, just a couple blocks from Michigan Ave., close to Navy Pier and River Walk. Great Breakfast! Very helpful Staff. We will definately stay here again!!!

The hotel was perfect for what I needed. The rooms were small, but clean and the staff was very friendly. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. It had a lot of variety and the food was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Very close to Rush Street, Chicago River and restaurants. All within walking distance. For over $300 a night, this was a very small room with limited perks. Odd things, like they provided comp. shampoo but no conditioner. Room and hotel were clean.

A good little hotel in the middle of it all in Chicago. Rooms are small, but the staff are exceedingly friendly and there is even a mini gym.
