Hotel right in the heart of everything. Easy access to train.

The hotel has a great location, it's clean and has helpful staff, I will come back.

Hôtel très bien situé , au pied du départ de la balade en bateau , au bord de Chicago river et près des transports en commun . Principales visites du loop accessibles à pied (Michigan avenue , state street , Wrigley building ...) Chambre de luxe très grande , avec surtout une vue inoubliable sur North River (trump tower marina city en face des baies vitrées) Personnel attentionné et bien informé . Propreté et confort très bien . Pour les personnes qui ne souhaitent pas prendre le petit déjeuner à 'l'hôtel ; (qui semble un peu couteux) , la "corner bakery" est ouverte 7j/j et l'on y trouve à quelques mètres de l'hôtel des bonnes choses 'muffins parfait à la fraise gâteaux à la cannelle ) également possibilité de faire emballer son panini pour balader en toute liberté .

Hotel 7 just had renovations done and let me tell you they have done a magnificent job. The view from the room was sensational -looking over the majestic river. The amenities were over the top, and the facilities were so pristine. They even had a TV in the bathroom! I know right?

This is a classy hotel with very comfortable rooms and an absolutely beautiful view. They have valet survice, if you'd like, but there is affordable self parking less than a block away. It is right down town, so you are close to the action, but if you need a taxi, one is stationed there for your convenience. I've been to Hotel 71 several times and have always had a good experience.

Was upgraded for free to a Junior Suite which was really nice. The location is awesome. Hope to stay here again.

Overall this hotel provided a fairly decent experience. There was something missing however. Whether it was the lack of door man service or the construction going on right outside of our door I am unsure. We were out of the room most the time though so the construction was a minor annoyance. Just make sure not to get stuck in a room right next to the elevator. I have been to Chicago many times and this hotel seemed lackluster when compared to others.

The staff was always courteous and helpful, but the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. The bathrooms in particular were not cleaned well. It is definitely not a higher end hotel, with no concierge and a single bellman at any one time. The restaurant/bar was desolate most of the time. However, the price and location make this a decent hotel; it wouldn't be my top pick, but if it was all that is available I wouldn't avoid it.

Great Hotel in a perfect location. Can walk to tons of great Restaurants and bars. The room was very clean, staff was friendly and we were able to check-in at 11:30am which is rare.

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé. Très proche du Loop et à proximité du Mag Mile. De plus, les quartiers un peu plus éloignés sont vites atteints, soit à pied pour River East, soit en métro pour les autres. Aucun commentaire négatif à formuler au sujet de l'hôtel, excepté le petit-déjeuner le matin du marathon (7.10.12). Ils auraient dû prévoir un forfait pour le tout et ne pas faire payer les aliments à la pièce.
