Motel 6 Quad City Airport

It stinks so much that you feel like you can get cancer while walking through the corridor! Every room that we’ve seen on both floors was labeled as non-smoking room, but corridors still smell terribly. We’ve put a towel under the door to prevent smell from coming to our room, but our non-smoking room has already absorbed so much of this smell that every piece of furniture stinks! You cannot ventilate the room, because windows DO NOT OPEN! Conditioners installed in every room take air from the same room (not from outside) so the smell does not go away. We are going to leave for another hotel since it is not possible to sleep here.

Tried to save a few bucks and be close to the airport since we only needed a place for 8 hours, flying out the next morning. But wow...what a disgusting place. Had to use a towel on the bench before putting our suitcase on it due to stains. Would not take off our shoes/socks due to disgusting carpet. Bathroom needs updating. Towels thin and almost see-through due to over use. We carefully removed bedspread and blankets to floor. Sheets appeared clean. Mattress well worn, squeaky and saggy. Need we say more?

Room clean, most other things need to be fixed the pool and exercise room need to be fixed.

It's $39 a night so what do you expect. Rooms are worn but very clean and large. It's a lot better for the price then super8 at $49 a night. Staff is very friendly. Was not disappointing for the price.

Good size room, bathroom wallpaper was starting peel, no alarm clock or shampoo. The whole place needs to be freshened up, but it was cheap! $45 a night tax included.

We were in town for a family wedding and decided to stay somewhere a little more budget friendly than the $100/per night hotel where rooms were reserved. The hotel was nothing fancy but absolutely fine for what we needed it for...a place to sleep and shower for two nights. There were a couple times we could hear the neighbor's TV, but it's a hotel, things like this happen. The only real complaint I had was that they didn't have extra anything, no extra pillows, blankets, soap, toothpaste, nothing

It was clean, and staff was nice. The beds and pillows were not so comfy

Really only at motel at night to sleep. Worked for that. Pool was broken during entire 9 day stay. No drink machines available, only snack machine. Towels were hard. But, worked for the cheapest price around!

The motel room was rather dark. It had 2 patches of plaster on one wall. There was mold on the ceiling tiles above the bath tub and on the molding along the floor of the bathroom. The bathroom vent did not work.Bathtub was hard to get in to with a high bath tub side. Had to use the security bars in the tub to get in and out. Bottom contour sheets didn't stay on the bed and the mattress would slide off the box spring from turning during the night sleep. When check out clerk was told about these things did not get any satisfaction these concerns would be taken care of. I definately would not stay here again. Even outside the back of the building had areas of paint missing or chipped off. The air was stuffy even with the air conditioner vent turned on. I did stay one night at the America's Best Motel and would definately stay there again. Much cleaner and desk personnel were very pleasant. I would give them 5 stars.

Hotel's in need of desperate makeover! Nonetheless, we slept well, AC was cold, and staff was doing the best they could. There was no continental breakfast, only coffee...McDees nearby though.
