Bridge Vista Beach - Hotel & Convention Center

Whirlpool had. Nasty green stuff come out when we turned it on. They sent us to the Hamilton hotel instead of bridge vista with out a notice or apology for the inconvenience.

This was a great deal for the money. We stayed off-season, so the rate was excellent. Our daughters loved the water park, especially the lifeguard at the slides. Rooms are a bit small and not very sound proof, but overall a very good value.

The quitest room i've every stayed in..beds where very comfortable..The food was good and the staff very friendly... the pool was warm.. the hot tub was even better...with the family pool, I thought kids would be running all over the halls and not the case.. great place to stay.

We stayed in the hotel for a weekend. It located almost at the end of the city, about 1.5 from the shopping area but it wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was good, with eggs and sausages. Room was clean, average size. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but we just left the window open for a night. And the water park was awesome. Kids 11 and 14 y.o. had a lot of fun!

We liked the area but it wasn't in the middle of everything, so if you don't like to walk get something closer or take the free bus. Kids loved the water park and we had a blast. Room wasn't anything special but it was clean and everything we needed but the microwave that was advertised they don't have in their rooms. Good and hot breakfast saves you money! I recommend to anyone!

The Hotel is a good value, Hot Breakfast which can save a family a bunch of money, I would stay there again.I have a feeling Katherine isnt happy anywhere. I got a good value considering that whole area will burn a hole in your pocket.

Please take the time to read this whole review-it will save you a lot of headache!Booked 2 nights at Bridge Vista in early July--4 months in advance. At check in we were told they didn't have our reservation. They could see it in one system, but not the other[...]. No rooms available that night and wouldn't bump anyone, but they would send us to another hotel and pay for an upgrade. After 2 minutes [...], the GM, said he called 20 places and the Days Inn had the only vacancy. [After walking around that night, every other hotel had vacancies.] The DI was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was very dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling from water damage. We got a room at the BV for the 2nd night, and they upgraded us to a beachfront suite. When we walked into the room there were no towels, toilet paper or kleenex! They knew we were coming, knew we were already upset and they couldn't even get basic housekeeping right! We tried to talk to [...] about all of this, but he kept blowing us off. Kept saying he'd call our room but never did. We finally tracked him down to talk about everything and he said he'd send us a voucher for a future stay and would comp our first night. We asked for something in writing, but he said that wasn't necessary and would take care of it. Fast forward a month and neither of these things were ever done. I spoke with [...] on 8/8 and he said he only sent a charge for one night [...], so they would have to take care of the refund. I asked him to fax me proof of this. The fax never arrived and I spent the remainder of the week leaving 8 messages, all of which were ignored by [...]. He even answered the phone one time, put me on hold and had one of his staff tell me he stepped away. I have never received the fax (or the voucher, not that it matters-we're never going back). Why would it be so hard to send a fax proving your innocence? Oh right, because it doesn't exist! Instead of fixing the problem and working with [...] to issue a refund, [...] is just sweeping this under the rug. I filed a complaint with the BBB and that has so far been ignored by [...] as well. [...] states that he has no boss and he is part owner of the hotel. I feel very sorry for his co-investors as he is going to run that place into the ground with his shoddy management and non-existent customer service skills. It's not even about the money anymore, but the way [...] treats his customers. Hopefully I can prevent anyone else from having to deal with this.

We stayed three nights and were very satisfied. We had a 5yr old and 16yr old grandchildren come with us and they had a great time. The beach, breakfast and water park were great . Breakfast everything but bacon, sausage waffels, cereal, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy and pastries. Location is not on top of shops which we liked, it was about 1/2 mile away. Rooms clean except for a little more care needed to be taken with the bathroom. Had a great time going to the island, shopping, beach, waterpark and relaxing.

We stayed here for one night and my kids were disappointed we couldn't stay longer. They loved the water park. My 5 and 6 year old kids and my 9 year old sister were in heaven! The room was standard but clean and what you'd expect. They also offered a nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereals, donuts, waffles, bagels and juices. We will go there again!
