Great place to stay in Mackinaw City
The breakfast was better than average with make-own-waffle stations, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and biscuits & gravy. The only thing lacking was fresh fruit.

Great value
Only needing to stay one night and just needing a clean quiet inexpensive place to sleep I was more than pleased with this hotel. Check in was quick and easy with pleasant staff. They informed me of all the amenities and times without asking. Room was very comfortable, bathroom was HUGE and clean, beds very comfortable, and I was extremely impressed with how little noise from other rooms and the outside there was. Will stay here again for sure.

The breakfast was wonderful. the jacuzzi tub was a relief after walking the island and getting wet on the ride back. We enjoyed going to the beach for taking pictures of the lake and islands. the room was just the right size and the a/c was great.

Off season over nighter
Booked for less than eighty dollars. Got a second floor room with hot tub in late Sept (off-season). No bay view. Was a rest stop on a long trip from the U.P. to Detroit. Room was reasonably clean (cob webs were plentiful- did not see any spiders). Hot tub was AWESOME and after a long day of driving- very much needed. Was located in a seperate nook from bathroom and had temperature and jet controls.

Admiral's Table Restaurant- just down the street- has AWESOME clam chowder and prime rib. All seafood is fresh and not frozen. A little upscale on prices, but not too bad.

Early check-in was great (2 hrs. early). Room typical, but a desk would have been nice. A cleaning towel had been left in the room which we quickly removed. No elevator for our section. We were able to get extra coffee packs with no problem. The hotel was close to the ferry we had reserved and desk staff was very helpful at providing info about Mackinaw City.

Feels like they paid me to stay
With the inexpensive price combined with the short walk to everything. Plus included free indoor waterpark tickets to neighboring hotels and a free hot breakfast leaves me feeling like they paid me to stay.

Not up to standards...
The room was fairly dirty and outdated. It needs more updating than just throwing in a flat screen TV. The picture doesn't reflect the real setting. The beach barely exists. We stayed during the week and paid nearly $150 a night and it should have been half of that.
