Ramada Mackinaw City Waterfront

We forgot our toothpaste...the ladies at the front desk gave us free samples they had behind the desk. The location was perfect...walking distance to everything from the ferry boats to the shopping/eating areas. Beautiful location. The beds and pillows were a little too firm for our taste, but otherwise, the value was good.

We were here for an overnight while traveling to Canada. The hotel is older,but in good shape. Located within walking distance to the Island ferries. The hotel breakfast was actually across the street at another hotel.

Great hotel and great price. This was so close to everything. Had a very pleasant experience.

Hotel was in a nice location, very close to the Mackinaw Ferries and downtown Mackinaw City. But Hotel had a spider infestation, all over the outside and we had about 30 on our balcony. Asked front desk to clean up balcony so we could sit there and got an attitude. We went and bought a can of bug spray and took care of them. But they were in hallways, doorways, around the outside...very disgusting. I guess they have a problem with them in the fall but it would have been nice to not have to clean up our own balcony.

Hotel was in a great location although it was a bit deceiving from the ad we saw to book the hotel from.IT definately was not a new hotel...staff didn't know where the breakfast would be...breakfast did not start when it said it would....hot tub was luke warm actually the pool was warmer. Probably would not stay therea again.

We really enjoyed the beach front view. Close to all the shops. An excellent place to vacation.

For as much as this hotel charges for a room, I expected it to be better. The room had a terrible odor that seemed to be coming from the bathtub/shower, specifically the bathtub floor which was a dirty light brown. The bathroom walls were moldy. After a decent night's rest (beds seemed clean), the complementary breakfast was appalling. All refrigerated items (milk, fruit salad, yogurt, etc.) were left out with no method to keep them cool. In fact, the yogurt was placed over a hot waffle iron. I can only imagine it is a matter of time before someone gets sick. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Nice location on the waterfornt in Mackinaw City. Also just a few hundred feet from the ferry services and within walking of all the shopping, dining and everything. It was very quiet at the hotel and it was very clean. The room was very roomy, great private balcony. There was a bonfire on the beach each night that was really nice. A no frills hotel, but clean, peaceful and wonderful views and location to everything.
