Nice for honeymoon
Stayed our first two nights here. Upgraded us to a suite since it was our honeymoon. Halls and elevators felt old, kind of dirty. But the room was nice. Clean, except for an odd stain on the comforter. Modern amenities, decent location, fair price, considering its competitors.

Good option in the Power and Light District
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 3 nights. The hotel is walking distance to the Power and Light district (a square block with a large screen TV outside and several bars and restaurants). The location was great for us. Parking is reasonable at $13 per day, but street parking is free and easy to find on the weekends. We didn't get an opportunity to use the pool, but it looked nice. They do close the pool for the fall/winter season even though it is heated. Our room was average, but comfortable. Housekeeping came in all days, but one day seemed to only change towels and forgot to do trash and make the bed. We received a basket of goodies because of the error which was nice of the hotel staff. All in all this was a good hotel and great location.

Fine hotel, good valet parking, clean, good location. Short walk to Sprint Center and Power and Light District. Felt safe while walking to/from Sprint, however, saw on the KC news the next evening there was a shooting at 330am on the corner of 13th and Wyandott. (Exactly where this hotel is). I would stay here again, but that is a little concerning!

WENT TO ELTON JOHN & BILLY JOEL CONCERT AT SPRINT CENTER,ONLY TWO AND HALF BLOCKS FROM HOTEL,PLUS ALL THE FUN OF THE RESTUANTAND CLUBS NEAR BYS,THE POWER LIGHT DISTRICT.HOTEL SUPER NICE, JUST WISH ROOM SERVICE STAYED OPEN LATER DURING BIG EVENTS, NOT COMPLANING ALL WAS GOOD.CROWN PLAZA DOWNTOWN IS A GREAT PLACE.ALSO SO PERFECT WITH CLOSE PARKING IN THER GARAGE.

Very Nice hotel. Staff excellent
As it was my husbands birthday Kayleigh at reception gave us a free upgrade to a suite!!!!!!

Great hotel for a concert!
We have stayed here before for a concert at the Sprint Center and didn't hesitate to come back again this time. It's in the perfect location for the Sprint center, resturants and nightlife in the KC power & light district. We have parked and walked to eat and venue both times. The staff was helpful & courteous. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean with a very comfy bed! Oh and the Starbucks in the lobby is a bonus!
