Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport

Our plane landed later than we anticipated so our overnight at the Fairfield Inn was short. The courtesy shuttle was great. Check in was easy and she made sure the driver knew we'd be on the early morning shuttle back to the airport. The room was spotless, the bed was so comfy that I wish we'd have had 2 nights here! I'd definitely stay here again, no doubt about it.

Nice,new and clean hotel. Stayed just one night for transit. Beds were small but OK. Free shuttle bus from airport but it only runs twice an hour. just missed one so waited for 30 min to get the next one, should have gotten a taxi

The bed seemed to be nice, but was lumpy and uneven. Then I went out for dinner and could not find the place upon return. The address is not clear and my GPS could not find the place. I drove around for 30 minutes. Around and around. Not fun at all. Stay somewhere else

Clean room, friendly staff, standard breakfast buffet.

Average clean room, nice bed, pool made the air in the common areas too humid, but breakfast was very nice. Good for short overnight stays, especially transiting Newark Liberty.

Clean hotel. Good breakfast. getting to the hotel was a little confusing, but I guess that can't be helped now. Free parking too.

Clean and comfortable. The fan was very loud though.

We had a layover and stayed one night. We were in the hotel a total of 7 hours. Everything was fine. We would use this hotel again.

My child loved it, he has an abounding enthusiasm for life. We adults were comfortable, but not over glamored. It smelled intensely of chlorine/mildew upon entry. Room was clean

The hotel was warm and front desk staff appeared friendly. The room was much smaller than anticipated and the living room tv was so close to the bedroom tv, you had to both watch the same station to hear. The usual Marriott amenities met my expectations...but was unhappy with the bath in room 518 that did not drain. So we showered in each other bath water. The hotel manager, failed to tell us that we needed reservations for the shuttle even though I said to him that we needed to catch it at 4:30a. The next day when it was not there, the front desk attendant claims we should have made reservations. The breakfast/kitchen staff need training in manners and etiquette. Saying excuse me sometimes, and not stretching over the guests when refilling canisters etc. would have been nice. Warning: Beware of ordering from the Chinese restaurant that places brochures at front desk and under the door. Our order was 2 hours late and they forgot the drinks. We made 8 subsequent calls over the next 2 hours and finally a threat to tell the front desk to discontinue referring them. Upon research we noted thatThey had bad reviews on-line and, yes indeed, the food was terrible.
