Flamingo Las Vegas

check in was a long wait..after a flight,cab and luggage toting,a long check in line sucks..then the surprise early check in fee(28) added to my annoyance..hallway carpets should be replaced,room was ok,no problems about the room..bath clean,showerhead ok..bathtub plunger change from tub to shower didnt fully engage showerhead..bed comfy,pillows ok..tv pic mediocre..pop machine didnt dispense pop after credit card swipe..location is ok...compared to other hotels,they are behind,but for a strip experience its worth staying here...you shouldnt be spending much time in your room anyways.

This is an average sized hotel and casino without much shopping or big attractions. Great location right in the center of the strip. Has a lively adults only pool with the hotel's staple flamingo theme throughout the large outdoor area. The basic rooms are nothing special, but an upgrade to one of their better rooms with a strip view is a much better stay. The hotel service was sub-par at best. Spent 50 minutes in line to get the rooms, and the line to check-in was out the door the entire stay, with 3-4 people behind the service desk at all times. With the final price of the hotel, flight, and room upgrades, I would recommend staying at a nicer hotel, unless you're booking based only on location and a pool.

Was in town for a seminar at another hotel but decided to stay at the Flamingo because it was significantly cheaper. The carpet in the halls was very stained and bunched up in some areas. The food in the all you can eat buffet was not high quality and lacked in taste. The room was comfortable though a bit dated in the bathroom except for the countertop. The casino and most of the restaurants on the first floor need updating. Overall, my experience was ok because I spent most of my time at the other hotel.

Hotel was in great location in middle of strip so convenient to walk everywhere. We arrived early morning hours and was unaware of 4 pm checkin. They charge an early check in fee which was never mentioned. Feel like that is taking advantage of tourists, if the room is available why charge an early check in? Front desk employees very un-accommodating.

If you are looking for one of the best locations on the strip without spending a fortune you have found your place. We upgraded to a GO room which I have been told was a necessity. The room was awesome and overlooked the Bellagio and fountains, the location is fantastic, and the pool was even better. The casino is not the best but the rooms, pool and location make it a great value.

I booked this hotel for me & my two kids (7&4) for a quick spring break getaway. I choae thia hotel because of the pools (waterfalls, caves, waterslides). Upon arriving we were met with a HUGE check in line. I was very happy & grateful when one of the staff pulled us out of line and let us check in VIP because i had kids (single mom bonus!). They were kind to give us a room close to the elevators with a view of the pools. The room was fine, clean & what i expected. My only complaint was no fridge & the bathroom was so small you had to squeeze to the side of the toilet to close the door. My biggest complaint was that they had changed the pools (all the good ones) to adult only. The only kids pool was a super small one that just had flamingos spraying water. boo.

Hotel lobby and casino weren't that bad. The outdoor pool area was nice. The room was very very basic. The bathroom was really outdated. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it didn't bother us.

We go for March Maddness. All the dining and entertainment are an add-ons. This casino/hotel was in the center of all the activiites we were interested in. Easy to walk to other casinos, shows and dining. The "habitat/pool area" was very nice, woodsy for LV. It even appeared to have real grass. We have stayed at all of the near by hotels/casinos, this was older and had that flare about it.

They require additional 18 dollars plus tax for pool and park.good security.

First, let me say we loved the hotel... but.... what we didn't expect upon arrival was for the airport shuttle bus to drop us off on the street BEHIND the hotel, all due to construction. Yes it is a necceary evil, but that first impression set the mood for the day after a long flight from the East Coast, I did not expect to have to walk that far to check in. Upon check-in we asked for the "Go" room upgrade, which was available, and was fantastic!!! We had a room on the 25th floor with a view of the pool area. Overall, we were very pleased with the Flamingo and would have no hesitation to book a room there again.
