Monte Carlo Resort and Casino

Staff was great. The poolside was awesome. Rooms were average. I would go back.

The rooms were nice and big. I liked that they gave two complimentary water bottles per day. The bathroom was good/normal...nothing special. I also liked that I asked for a room with a view when I checked in, and they accommodated my request. There are a ton of places to eat in the hotel, ranging from food court style to nicer sit down restaurants. There is also a tram that will take you straight down to the Bellagio (loved how convenient that was). In addition, the hotel is directly connected to Aria. New York, New York is also next door, and there are a bunch of reasonably priced places to eat in there as well. The pool was nice, and there were a ton of lounge chairs so you won't get down there and have no place to sit and put your stuff down. The hotel staff as well as the dealers in the casino were very nice and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

What a great hotel!! Perfect location on the strip, clean rooms & food court. Very happy staying here. Excellent value as well.

This is my 5th stay at Monte Carlo. I am a frequent Vegas traveler and have stayed at many other places yet I keep coming back to MC! The rooms are clean, the price is great and the location is very central. There are 2 Starbucks and a 24-hour Subway if you want a late snack that's not horribly unhealthy. The Cafe has breakfast all day and offers a good deal on happy hour appetizers. I have always gotten great service there. I have not eaten at the buffet but I have heard it's not good, I am not a fan of buffets anyway so that doesn't matter to me. There's a free tram from MC to City Center and Bellagio. If you prefer to cab it, the cab line always moves quickly. MC is attached to Aria so you can access it without having to go outside. There's a CVS right next door which is great (and cheap) if you forgot to bring something. You get 2 free small bottles of water each day in your room, plus there's a Keurig with 2 coffee pods each day too. There's a hair dryer in a bag in the closet, plus an iron and ironing board. Each room has a safe. The game tables are fun, you can almost always find a $10 blackjack table at night. This is not a destination casino (like many of the high end or themed casinos) so it's usually not too crowded. I like that because after a day or night of visiting and playing at other casinos, it's nice to have a quieter home base to play a little more and wind down. Cocktail service is usually very good and they have a lot of fun dealers. The express check out is so easy, you can do it on your TV screen or fill out a short form and drop it in a box. I used to stay at a different place each Vegas trip but, as I mentioned before, I keep coming back to MC because of the service, location and value. I definitely recommend Monte Carlo!

The pool and close proximity to the Strip is the highlight for this hotel. Rooms are outdated and need a serious scrubbing, great price as long as you know it's a cheap room.

Great hotel! We loved that the Aria tram was right there and free! The pools, restaurants, and bars were great! We will return to the Monte Carlo next time, it's a good hotel for the price, amenities, and location.

The staff was a bit slow in checking in guests. We checked in at 11:00 PM and were third in line. With 3 groups ahead of us it still took 20 mins to get checked in. A great location at the south end of the strip and great pools. Like the atmosphere at NY NY a bit more. Great overall experience.

Hotel overbooked our type of room but they upgraded us at no additional charge. The room was spacious but lacked a microwave for heating up left over food. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels. The pool area was great fun - good music and a wave pool. I liked that the hotel had a Starbucks and a food court. Great for snacks and inexpensive meals. I tried the buffet for brunch and was underwhelmed. The salad bar could use some additional options as well as some healthier main dish choices. The Chinese dishes were way overcooked and greasy. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again.

The time spend at the monte carlo was average for our stay, we expected more. We thought it'd be more fancy and luxurious and would offer more. We didn't even have wifi in the room- we had to have a wired connection. Our shower head looked like it was from the 1920s and there was no fan in our bathroom. Not to mention to walls were paper thin and we could hear every movement of those around us. Overall, we were not dissatisfied, but would have liked more.
