Super 8 Ithaca

Great place to lay your head - very clean, friendly staff, and local to whatever you'd need in Ithaca.

The stafff was very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean. Quiet even though located on a main road. wegman's right across the street.

I've stayed in three hotels in Ithaca over that past year. Super 8 has been my best experience and ironically the cheapest experience. I'll be honest, I've never really thought much of Super 8 as a chain. However, the one in Ithaca is clean and surprisingly quiet (even though it was booked up when I was there). Nothing fancy, just good mattresses and a place to sleep. Like I say, the price was about 2/3 of the other two hotels I've been in. It's 5 minutes from Cornell, Ithaca College and the downtown.

I had opportunities to stay in two different hotels in Ithaca, and obviously the Super 8 provided me a quite satisfiable accommodation. It is not a luxurious five-star hotel, but it is clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a microwave. They provide daily cleaning and decent breakfast. Bedding was also quite comfortable and I could not hear any noise while I stayed. In addition, the location of the motel is very close to downtown and Cornell campus. I highly recommend this motel.

Everything went great, will stay there again. Get having breakfast, workout room, quiet and very friendly.

Very basic hotel for when that is all you need. Great place to stay for cheap. I felt the room was clean and you get a free breakfast in the morning. If your not coming for vacation and your just stopping by for a night or two I would say go for it.

We stayed in Ithaca for a 4-day music festival in Trumansburg, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, especially for the price. It looked like our room was recently remodeled. It was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit loud and it didn't do a very good job at keeping the room at a consistent temperature. The continental breakfast was nothing special, but adequate. Another benefit is the location - right next to Wegmans (grocery store) and restaurants. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a clean, reasonably priced hotel. If you expect more you should probably consider staying somewhere else.

I would not stay at this hotel again based solely on the rudeness of the Front Desk Staff. We had a problem with our reservation, when I called to inquire, the woman at the front desk was rude and obnoxious, and then actually hung up on me! I called back and asked to speak with the manager, and she HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! I would not call this acceptable in any way shape of form.

We were a little nervous as we had a large group and there was limited availability in other nearby hotels. The Super 8 was fine for the price. Think small. Only two floors, small "fitness room", no elevator, no pool. But easy enough to walk to the Commons. Next door to a 24 hr Wegmans so you won't go hungry. They give you a limited free breakfast which was a time saver for us. Overall a good value, but not luxurious by any standards. Clean and pleasant staff.

for the price, it's pretty good overall. also offer internet and breakfast
