Fairfield Inn New York Long Island City/Manhattan View

The hotel wasn't in the best area but the stay was absolutely amazing. It was close to the city and anywhere else you needed to go. My girlfriend and I felt safe and it was extremely cozy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, including couples, friends and family stays!

If I had not known where I was spending this weekend I would have thought I was in the south....the hospitality, graciousness, and friendliness was outstanding. My group of 10 raved about the staff, the service- from the front desk to the housekeepers- and the attention to detail. The shuttle service to the train was available when we needed transportation. We took many trips to shows, etc. and when we called for the shuttle it was on time. When asked about directions, eating, shopping, etc. the front desk staff were wonderful...they gave us advice as to times and places to be to select activities. I would select this hotel over the others we have used in Manhattan. None of the others paid attention to our needs as this Fairfield staff . They were superior to all others we have used. Needless to say, we will stay here again.

In dit hotel week een gelogeerd. Na het lezen van ervaringen met argwaan vertrokken. Dit was helemaal niet nodig. Kamers goed elke dag schone handdoeken en gepoetst. Heerlijke bedden. Opbergruimte voor ons vieren was te weinig. Ontbijt zeer welkom geen sterrenontbijt maar wel verschillende dingen om je dag mee te beginnen. Cornflakes, koffie thee fruitsap yoghourt muffins donuts kleine broodjes en allemaal merkproducten je kunt er zelfs wafels bakken. Ligging op 15 minuten lopen van metro. Elke 30 minuten een shuttlebus gratis van hotel metrostation 33rd street en dan op 11 minuten van central station heel centraal in NYC. Personeel vriendelijk en correct.

Staff was rude the only helpful person was the manager Elizabeth. Rooms were nice and clean but didn't even have shower caps. Great thing about this hotel, they have a shuttle that takes you to the train station every 1/2 hour and picks you up from there as well :)

This is a new hotel I stayed in NY. I am not fermiliar with this area. It's difficult to find taxi in the street. The hotel shuttle bus sent me to the train station to find tax which is farer away from my destination. If you are sure of the location, it is a good choice.

No Hot Breakfast! No Swimming Pool Parking Lot below the building gives really a headache. Environment around the hotel doesn't look safe and comfort.

The hotel was overall a fair deal. There are some positive and some negative things about the Hotel.Let me start from the Negative ones. The hotel doesn't provide any shuttle service from the Airport. Though it's mentioned in the [...]site, that there is Airport shuttle service from LaGuardia Airport, but nothing was like that. Seconf thing was that the room was very small. whe went for a fun weekend and it was OK. The only inconvinient is the distance between the subway station and the hotel location. A shuttle was provided, but after 11 pm was a problem, specialy becouse the local line was under repair and we had to make several changes. Overall it is a good hotel. Nicely decorated and cleam rooms,good breakfast and services.

My favorite part about my experience was the complimentary breakfast. It was great, and the staff was more than helpful.
