hintansa väärti. siisti melko uusi hotelli, puhtaat huoneet ja metroasemat vajaan kilometrin päässä josta pääsee jokasuuntaan myös aivan manhattanin ytimeenkin suoralla linjalla.

Dieses Hotel war absolute Klasse!! Wir waren 3 Pärchen und wurden auf unterschiedlichen Etagen, aber dafür alle mit Blick auf die Brücke untergebracht - toller Panoramaausblick! Das Hotel sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Schön modern und sauber. Ebenso die Zimmer. Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr groß, dass Bett und die Kopfkissen sehr bequem. Das Bad war auch sehr groß. Die Duschvorrichtung war auf den ersten Blick etwas kompliziert und es dauerte einige Minuten, bis das Wasser heiß wurde, aber dann war es heiß und blieb auch heiß, sodass man bei warmen Wasser und kräftigem Wasserstrahl duschen konnte. Trotz Duschvorhang (die finde ich in der Regel fies) war alles so neu und sauber, dass ich sogar zweimal in der Badewanne gebadet habe. Auch der Haartrockner war super und mit Power. Die Kaffeemaschine haben wir auch jeden morgen für Tee und Kaffee in den praktischen To-Go-Bechern genutzt. Die Lage ist perfekt. Mit dem JFK-Train bis Jamaica, dann umsteigen in die E und schon ist man am Hotel. Insgesamt dauerte die Fahrt von Flughafen bis Hotel keine ganze Stunde. Die Subway-Haltestelle am Hotel hat den Anschluss an die Linien E und M und noch eine. Damit konnten wir immer prima alle Ziele in Manhattan ohne Umsteigen am morgen erreichen und quasi von überall problemlos und ohne Umsteigen abends zurück zum Hotel fahren. GENIAL! Es waren wirklich nur 4 oder 5 Stationen und damit knappe 10 Minuten, da war man mitten im Trubel am Times Square. 2 oder 3 Mal haben wir auch den Shuttelbus genutzt, der uns kostenlos immer zur vollen Stunde zur Subway gefahren hat. Aber die Strecke ist nicht lang und die anderen 3 Male sind wir zu Fuß gegangen. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist eine Art "Restaurant" genannt "Small Kitchen". Da konnte man super prima in Ruhe frühstücken und es war dort sauber und das Essen und der Kaffee wirklich lecker. Check-in und Check-out verliefen super schnell. Das Personal an der Rezeption war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei der Gepäckaufbewahrung am letzten Tag werden sogar Nümmerchen auf die Gepäckstücke geklebt und man erhält das Gegenstück, sodass auch kein Fremder Zugang in den Aufbewahrungsraum hat. Wir werden das Hotel all unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen und sollten wir nochmal nach New York kommen werden wir wieder dort einchecken.

To be honest what we paid for this place was very reasonable and transport to Manhattan was awesome. Just a few little bits that could make it better. Not something that would normally bug me but i noticed towards the 5th day that the room wasn't being dusted as the furnishings had a layer of dust on. The walls are thin, I pretty much heard the footsteps of everyone around us. Also as you're in a city where customer service is part of the experience didn't feel the front desk staff where as friendly or as forthcoming as they could be. Overall, good quality hotel for the price they asked, and as you go to see the city not stay in your hotel the points I made are not so much of a problem, more constructive criticism. Rooms were still good and bed made with clean sheets and bathroom cleaned nicely. Overall my experience was 3.5/5.

This has by far surpassed my expectations. This place was amazing. The shuttle made life so much easier!!! the room was impeccable. The amenities were on point and the staff was super super friendly. Everyone was very welcoming and the rooms were super warm. I was on the floor with one of the two ice machines and it was not a bother at all. I originally intended on staying for two nights and ended up booking and an extra night. It was easy to book and the staff was helpful. My boyfriend loved the place and he said that is is 'our spot' for our getaways. Simply amazing is all I can say,

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were warm and friendly whenever we walked into the lobby. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom tended to be on the cold side, since there is no heating in there. The plumbing was also a bit of an issue since it took quite a bit of time for the water to heat up. Once it did, temperatures fluctuated with just a centimeter change in the shower knob. Besides the water issue, the overall place was great. I booked the place at a reduced cost since the restaurant was not available due to ongoing repairs needed from Hurricane Sandy.

No complaints about this hotel. Expect some noise, because it is located in a slighty industrial area. They do have a shuttle for shops 3 blocks away, but we never used it. Either walked, taxied or used a town car staff will call for you. The housekeeping was excellent and we wanted for nothing. The restaurant was very good. I wish I could rememeber the name of our waiter. He was fantastic. Special thanks to Danielle at front desk. Always smiling and went out of her way for us to make our stay more pleasurable. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice clean hotel, staff helpful. Location is Ok, short distance from subway and felt safe walking back late at night despite being in mixed area of residential and commercial buildings. Is more a Travel Lodge type of hotel, best suited as a base rather than another experience of New York.. 10 mins by subway from Times Square. Views of the main area from our bedroom from the side but also of the garage where a number of yellow taxis are parked overnight. Room was very clean, and stocked up every day. Overall value for the money.

The only disadvantage is that wind direction of air conditioner can not be changed. Otherwise, everything is perfect about this hotel.
