Best Western President Hotel at Times Square

The employees couldn't have been nicer but they were dry unprepared. My first room was not the right room and the second I was gives was still dirty, I mean sheets recently slept in bathroom filled with hair wreaking of weed dirty. Though there was some complications everything else was just dandy and you can of beat the location.

I based my decision to get a room here based on others reviews.I want to give my review so you will make the best decision based on what you want to pay. We found the front desk staff not friendly when we arrived. They made us wait half an hour for our room because it wasn't clean and it was check in time. We arrived in our room to find it small, no view of Times Square. One light did not work, our television did not work and both nights we stayed there was a really loud noise and shaking in the room. I don't know if this is normal but it was there non the less. We did not spend hardly any time in the room except to sleep as we ventured out and saw everything in NYC while we were there. I can say I would not stay here next time we visit.

El lugar está espectacularmente ambientado de forma moderna. La atención es adecuada y la limpieza es superior. Sólo encontré dos problemas en mi estancia: 1. La habitación es muy pequeña. 2. El colchón de la habitación está ya muy usado y hundido, pasé un par de noches un tanto incómodas.

My room with a view of a fire escape was filled with a greasy smell of Asian food. I was interested at that point and looked at the information binder to find out how to get some tempura and discovered NO MENU, but directions on how to log in to a web site, etc, etc, etc. The room never stopped smelling but the woman at the desk early this morning was friendly, helpful and made up for the walk to Sbarro for dinner.

No frills, but clean, comfy, and affordable for Times Square. Easy walking to distance to Broadway shows.

Great location to Times Square but many problems with the room. The heater/air conditioner would not turn on and pipes banged all night long, the shower curtain was too short allowing water to spill all over the bathroom. I told the front desk and maintenance and it was never replaced. The TV was fuzzy but maintenance fixed it quickly.

The lobby was nice, but the rooms were small, and no space outside the bed. Also, the heater was not working, and the first room we were given had the window broken and cold air coming in. We got another room, but the heat was not working, but the hotel staff were nice and finally got us a space heater. It was not the most comfortable. The pictures of US presidents and their wives were modern artish and a little scary.

We went to the Hotel Del Sol and it was so bad that we moved hotels. This place was almost twice the price but totally worth it. Great location on Union Square. The rooms were clean and the staff was attentive. It made for a great "save" of our trip.

Hotel is clean and the staff is nice. Just they were cleaning the outdoor carpet at 8am and i was sleeping

Great location. Not too clean but no pests in sight and the maid was polite, smiling, and willing to go above and beyond for us. Motif was fun and intriguing. The staff was always ready to help.
