Despite the small size of the
Despite the small size of the room, it was a bit of perfection! The furnishings kept the needs of the guest completely in mind, the bathroom was surrounded in black marble, and the room service was deliscious! I would most certainly stay there again.

Friendly staff and they upgraded
Friendly staff and they upgraded me. They answered phones immediately. Porters were polite and smiling. Late checkout was no issue and they did not charge or call me constantly to vacate as in some hotels. Location was just wonderful, just off fifth avenue, close to Times Square, shopping and Grand Central train station. Breakfast was great, croissants perfect as in France not the namke believe variety (I spend a lot of time in France so this is an issue I am quite experienced in! Could have had a better business facility ie I needed to print a few things and had to email it to them. Its small with no lobby to speak of (there is a waiting room on the 2nd floor. But considering its location, staff and the price I paid, it was a dream come true and it would be a first port of call for me in future. No hesitation.

"Petite" room lived up to its
"Petite" room lived up to its name but still had adequate space to move around, comfortable but not elegant, original art a nice touch, excellent staff and chocolate chip cookies with the turn-down service, very large bathroom with bidet, nice location close to Times Square, good value at $150.

This was with out a doubt, the
This was with out a doubt, the highlight of our trip. We were running late and the front desk person asked if there was anything he could do to help as far as directions or setting up a meal upon our arrrival. Everyone on the staff actually took the time to acknowledge us and made us feel welcome. It was unfortunate that we only had one night there. I have recomended the City Club to everyone I know. The Park Central should send there staff here to learn how to deal with guests and to learn how rooms should be ready upon arrival. As far as your rating system goes, very good does not do this hotel justice, EXCELLENT should be up there. We can't wait to go back

Superbe petit ecrin à taille humaine
Superbe petit ecrin à taille humaine avec un emplacement parfait. 200 m de Time Square, 100 m de la 5 EME Avenue, 300 m de la fameuse patinoire du ROCKFELLER Center, 500 m de Central Park. Chambre cosy, soignée, très propre, un havre de paix dans lequel il fait bon se reposé après avoir passé la journée dans le tumulte New Yorkais ! Un personnel particulièrement attentionné (Cookies avec la méteo du lendemain vous attendent chaque soir sur le lit avant de vous coucher) Nous y retournerons c'est certain. Prendre le petit déj à l'américaine à 20 m de l'hôtel au RED LION que du bonheur avec une carte de folie à un prix cheap !

Very pleasantly surprised!
This hotel was wonderful! The staff was kind and accomodating; they even gave us a complimentary upgrade. Everything was clean, there was plenty of space, and the terrace was a welcome surprise. It was within walking distance to Central Park, 5th Ave shopping, and Times Square. We will definitely return!
