Clarion Hotel Park Avenue

Very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Their rate include continental breakfast which is all we need to eat something before a long day of walking in NYC.

Location is great. Staff was ok. Everything was clean. The room was extremely small, which you would expect in New York. The view was terrible...facing a brick wall, and it can get noisy when people walk out on the hall way. Breakfast is not too bad. Overall an decent, fairly ok experience for the price.

This hotel is just fine -- clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast selection. As described the rooms are very small. This is not the place to stay if you need to do any work, Even checking email on a computer requires that you hold the computer on your lap on the bed. But it is a good bed for a reasonable NY price.

The people at the front desk were very cordial and accommodating. This Hotel is so easy to get to from the Subway and the location is midway between all the "sight-seeing" places of NYC. Don't expect too fancy....it's a three star Hotel, but I would definitely stay there again. Minor negative considerations would be that the room doors bang very loudly as other guests come and go

No big issues here. The room is very small, but maybe that is normal for the middle of NYC. Staff is friendly and everything seemed clean. Good location- directly across from a huge Starbucks and near a number of restaurants and bars.

This hotel was within reasonable walking distance from penn station, was clean and quiet. Room was quite small but the price was right.

Nice having the same counter (mgr) and bell captain to deal with both days. Both were very friendly and helpful. Room didnt smell bad for a smoking room. Too warm. No temp control. Bed soft but slept well. Room very small as expected but much nicer than I expected.

The rooms are small, and the breakfast is no frills, but the place is clean and comfortable. The immediate blocks around the hotel are not particularly charming, but you are near some fun indian restaurants, and the empire state building.

Others have described this as a "European-Style" hotel. Guess that means very narrow hallways and rooms with little room for more than the essential bed. But less expensive than other hotels in this part of Manhattan, so worth it for the location.
