Four Points by Sheraton Midtown - Times Square

Well located near bus/train terminal and Time Square. Boutique type hotel with small but comfortable rooms. Good service.

Nice hotel, rather small room, but clean properly appointed. One Breakfast included. The buffet was the better option. Would have liked daily breakfast included, like other hotels where we have stayed. Location of hotel across from transit authority was helpful, for telling cab drivers location when returning to hotel. Being next to adult bookstores and parole authority, meant walking past shady folks. Spent most time spent out exploring NYC, Rockerfeller Center, Empire State building, Battery Park, Central park, Shopping, location and room sized minimal distraction. Cabs were easy to find and seemed relatively cost effective, but all cab drivers drove crazy fast and were always switching lanes. Subway was interesting experience.

Location was great. Room and the bathroom in particular were small but this may be normal by New York standards.

Our initial impression on check in after a long flight was of the receptionist who was too busy playing on her mobile phone to look up to serve us. Eventually she put the phone done and checked us in. Fortunatley, all other staff we came in contact with during our stay were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel was very handy to Time Square and the midtown area and has great access to the Subway. One small negative was the fact the Parole Board was next door, but this did not cause any problems and we felt safe walking around at all times of the day. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfy and bathroom is well appointed with a good shower

The beds were awesome after a long day sightseeing I looked forward to a great nights sleep in the super comfy beds. Loved New York cant wait to go back and would definately stay in this hotel again it was situated a 5 min walk from Time Square. I found New York very easy to get around and the people friendly

Room was fine. The one thing they can improve on is a way for people to get their luggage back when it is being held after check out time. This took a lot of time and we almost missed our bus to the airport.

The hotel room was clean. The maid service was adequate, but had to call desk for a few things like wash cloths and glasses. The location was good. The bed were fantastic, I wish I could have brought it home.

The staff was great, really helpful and friendly. I highly recomend this hotel, even its not the cheapest.

Great price for times square area. Nice room and really nice staff. Would recommend to friends. Only negative is you have to walk by two "adult" shops and a liquor store to get to hotel, but never felt unsafe at any time.

Clean, comfortable room. A touch small but very nice. Location near bus terminal is somewhat noisy, but a convenient walk to midtown attractions. Breakfast service is overpriced.
