This hotel is set up for the masses. Unhelpful desk clerks, over-crowded, small rooms, ridiculously slow elevators. Possibly an acceptable convention hotel, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a more comfortable, civilized New York experience.

Make sure to establish a relationship w/a bellman early in your stay. A daily tip will help you skip the mile long cab line. A must if you have reservations or appointments to keep elsewhere in the city.

Perfect location
This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of time square. Not the location to stay if you are looking for piece and quiet. This one is more if you want to be right there. Broadway shows, juniors cheesecake, and tour bus' all just a block away. Great drinks in their 360 revolving bar on the 48th floor, only downside is the drinks are a bit pricey. Great place to go and feel the full New York experience.

Great Hotel, Better Location!
The Hotel is right in the middle of Times Square. It simply does not get any better. Hotel was very clean, the staff was quite accomodating, and I wish I could say more, but we did not spend much time at the hotel. We were too busy enjoying the city!

There are so many great resatraunts wihtin a few blocks of the hotel. I highly recommend Carmines. It is very cozy, great bar, and we had to wait close to an hour to be seated, but sooo worth it!

Awesome location!!!
Great vacation experience with our kids. Very courteous and helpful staff in every way! Excellent location- just steps from the best shows, restaurants, shopping, and double decker bus routes. Rooms were very spacious for NY. We will definitely stay here again!!

great hotel on times square
it was great! the location was wonderful, right next to subway stations, our room had a spectacular view of Times Square. We were able to walk to MoMA and to all the Broadway shows. It was fantastic. The nightlife in the area was great too, it was really nice to just be able to cross the street and go to a comedy club or a nice bar then head back to our room when we were done. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were big. It was very clean and the staff was excellent, they answered all our questions and had great recommendations. I have no complaints!

Go to the Broadway Comedy club! It was great, we saw a Comedy Central showing and I don't usually like stand up comedy, but this was so great.

Super location for shows and good eats! Room was quiet despite being right on Times Square. Blackout curtains made the room dark even with the lights blaring 24/7 outside. What a great trip!

Not worth the price
The hotel was nice, clean, and in a very convenient location. But to spend what I did just to sleep somewhere was not worth it. I realize that things in NY tend to be more expensive. But everything except the stay was extra. My daughter and I went to see a show that would run late, so I figured it would be best to stay overnight. I consider it an experience, and a lesson learned.
