Location, Location, Location
I was there with my 2 daughters (20 and 22 yrs). It was our first trip to New York and the location was ideal for sight seeing and shopping. Our cab dropped us off at the Time Square entrance which took our breath away. What an thrilling introduction to New York!!!!

Great Location!
We could hear talking during the middle of the night. Not sure if it was coming thru the walls or from outside the door, but it sounded as if people were in our room. Not sure what that was all about. Otherwise, the rooms were very nice and clean and the location could not have been better.

Great staff & bldg - poor internet & tv
The hotel is top notch. Clean, great staff and incredible location. The television and internet service were poor. I was reduced to listening to a Stanley Cup Final game on an internet stream because they didin't carry the Versus cable network. Internet was $16.95 per day and was not very good. I was constantly getting thrown out of work vpn and hockey game stream to the iBahn sign in page. As a Marriott Rewards member I was very disappointed. The wireless never gave better than a "very low" signal.

Wonderful Hotel
The hotel is conveniently located for vacationing persons and the security is enhanced by having the lobby on the 8th floor (no one just walks in off the street). The hotel is extremely clean in both common areas and the individual rooms.

Great location:) Food to expensive :(
We came as a family for a quick get away. The hotel was in a great location and we would stay again but after the first breakfast for 4 for over $130 we decided we better eat at other less expensive locations. Hotel was on Broaway with great views of Times-Square. Walked across the street to the Lion King show and it was wonderful!!!! We had a great time!

Smack dab in the center of Time Square
This was our first trip to New York and if I ever go again I would probably stay here. It is right in the center of everything. I was worried about the staff being rude ( it is NYC ) but all staff we came in contact with were very helpful and polite. Most of the major theaters flank each side of the hotel and Hell's Kitchen starts just a block behind it. The hotel room has Bath and Body Works amenities. I would suggest getting the highest floor possible. We stayed on the 24th floor and could still hear the street performers that hang out in front of the hotel.

There is a TKTS just 1 block up from the hotel in Times Square for half price Broadway theater tickets showing that very day. Beware, you will be waiting in line for HOURS!!!Instead go to the Downtown location where there is little to no wait AND you can get you tickets the day of or PRIOR to the show you want to see.

Recent stay at New York Marriott Marquis
I attend Book Expo America, attended a show on Broadway, did a bus tour of the city & visited Madame Tussauds wax museum. The only think missing was time. Should have stayed a bit longer. All my trips are different.Most time I linked up with friends, but not this time.
