Great NYC Experience
The Marriot Marquis was a perfect hotel to stay in while visiting NYC. It's location is in the center of it all of Manhattan's main attractions. Just steps from Rockefellar Plaza, Time Square and Central Park. The hotel staff is extremely hospitable and the hotel was immaculate. Very impressive for the amount of visitors it gets. The rooms are very large and comfortable. I would stay in this hotel every time I visit NYC!

Very attentive
When walking through the various hotel entrances of the Marriott Marquis, there was always helpful staff showing us the way to the elevators or asking us if we needed assistance in any way. I found that to be very helpful.

perfect place to stay
This was the second time I had stayed at the Marriott Marquis. The location is perfect! It is right in the middle of Times Square, close to great restaurants and lots of shopping! The ticket booth is located right in front of the hotel, if you are interesting in Broadway plays. We arrived at the hotel quite early (to get an extra day in at NYC) and they put us right in a room! I thought we were going to have to wait until 3:00, like most hotels; this was awesome, since we had all been up since 3am and tired from traveling. We fell in love with the housekeeper; she went above and beyond her duty. The beds were to die for! Everything was perfect! I am sure I will stay there again!!

My review of New York Marriott Marquis
The Marriott Marquis was superb: Up to date furnishings, comfortable, roomy, quite lovely indeed. The Times Square location was very convenient both to Manhattan sights and to the subway for further expeditions. The breakfast buffet was delicious and ample and tastefully presented. The view from the View Lounge was beatiful at night and worth the price of the buffet. Unfortunately, the nights we were there it was too crowded to really enjoy and no reservations were available at the View Restaurant. That's understandable since we were in NYC for a fine October stay with lovely warm days and cool nights. We found good New York pizza across the street and a wonderful deli two blocks away. Many attractions were within walking distance, including Rockafellar Center, Fitth Ave. Toys R Us, M & M and the Disney store to mention a few. Buses routes were very convenient as well.

Great Location!
The Marriott Marquis is a superb hotel, the staff are friendly and could not be more helpful. The beds are the comfiest anywhere and the view from our window was absolutely amazing! I would stay in the Marriott Marquis any time!! The location in Times Square is the best in the City.

MY SISTER AND I LOVE TO VACATION IN NEW YORK CITY. THE MARRIOTT PUTS YOU RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING GREAT. AFTER STAYING IN ANOTHER HOTEL LAST VISIT, WE WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE BUT THE MARRIOTT MARQUIS FROM NOW ON. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL IS GREAT. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

Intoducing Someone to NYC
Our only disappointment at the hotel was the fact that we went to the lounge at the View for drinks after a show and it closed early without a notification on the board listing the hours of operation. Therefore we were not able to enjoy the whole city view experience that we had gone up to enjoy and we could have gone a different night had we know the hours had changed. Given the price of drinks and the fact that it was our 16 year old niece's firt time in the City it was disappointing to have to leave before we had an opportunity to enjoy the complete circle and finish our drinks.
