Great Location
This hotel as a great location if you want to see times square, Rockerfeller center, fifth ave., and be a tourist. This hotel had a very friendly staff and was very helpful. This was a great trip to the city.

Times Square living
First time to New York City. Thought we would would stay in the heart of all the action. Great hotel, loved the city, just expensive, which is to be expected.

New York vacation
We were on a 4 day vacation, this was a great location and a great hotel. The hotel was right in Times Square amd easy to get to all the major sites. We had fun.

Use the ticket discount vendor in Times Square (TKTS)and get 1/2 price tickets to broadway shows. The theater was an easy walk.

Most major attractions is located right outside the hotel. While other sites are not too far away with transportations standing by to take you there if you decided not to walk.

NYC vacation
Very good central location and surprisingly quite rooms even if the hotel is located in the midst of Times Squares madness! Easy access to all forms of transportation. We enjoyed 3 shows, a Yankee game, and 3 museum visits while on vacation. The only complaint is that when a personal item (silver Tiffany necklace) was inadvertently thrown away by hotel housekeeping staff - the staff's overall response was pretty much "tough luck" and stated the responsibility was ours for leaving this item out. It put a bit of a black cloud on an otherwise terrific vacation since this item was a college graduation gift for my daughter. The manager and housekeeping manager showed no apparent care or concern. We tried not to let this incident influence the otherwise good time - but I will think twice before choosing Marriott over another comparable hotel next time around.

Great location for first timers
This hotel was right in the center of Time Square. As first timers in NYC it was a very good location. We took a cab to the Pier and to the financial district - both fares were less than $20. Overall, a very nice experience.

For cheap beer, free hot dogs and good people find Rudy's bar. Great little Tavern that wont cost you $50 for a beer and glass of wine.

Great location for Theater Goers!
The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the porters. Everyone was helpful and having our luggage stored until we were ready to leave for the airport was very convenient. Couldn't beat the location for the theater, right around the corner!

Fly me away...
First time in New York and it was the perfect place to stay. Location and view could not be better. I went with my 2 teens girls and they were impressed from day one. We had lots of fun and sight seeing. Felt like a cruise.

Fabulous Times Square Hotel
This hotel is in the perfect location for first time visitors to NYC. It's in the heart of Times Square with easy access to many local attractions. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Their new elevator system is outstanding and prevents long waits for elevators. Finally, I like the fact that they have large enough safes inside the rooms to store things like laptops.
