Great room for weekend price at great location. Good work out room with 5 treadmills, free weights, multiple machines, towels, water,etc.

Was out of town from ohio and first trip to NYC, had sum problems with our reservations but the front desk clerk was more than accomodating!!!! Great experience at this hotel, would book it again

This is a great location. You can pretty much walk everywhere and if you can't, there are subway stations close by. Rooms were pretty clean however when we got there I was told all rooms were non smoking. When we walked into the room it smelled terrible, like stale smoke. Obviously, when you change to non smoking you should change all drapes, sheets, bedspreads etc. Went back to front desk and told them and they gave us another room right away. Please note, if you have to get a cab back to the airport, do not let the doorman talk you into "a hotel car". It is $45 from Manhattan to JFK by cab. The "hotel car" cost us $55. I don't think the hotel should allow this. Otherwise, had a great stay.

Friendly staffs and good service, and of course great location - close to Times Square. It was fairly close to 5th ave. shopping street. The only thing that we did not like is smelly room (can't describe what the smell was like, maybe sweat or something??) and noisy neighborhood. Overall I think it is a good hotel for price and location.

The first day the elevator did not work, so we had to use the stairs (only 9 floors). The room is clean and comfortable, but there was a door to the next room and we could hear the conversations of the "neighbors". But in general it was a great option because the great location.

Bath room smelled mildly of urine, my guess is the floor was a. not mopped, b. the mop was used and not rinsed well. I would rate at 3.5. Will I return yes, location and price.

We were on spring break, so vacation and school visit to nyu.

We were originally staying in a hovel and decided to move out so found this at very short notice.I paid around ...$155 per night over Easter weekend and considering there were 2 double beds (unusual for NYC) I thought was pretty good. Location was superb, 2 blocks north of times square, 2 blocks south of central park, 2 blocks west of 5th avenue shops. Subway station just over the road. Hotel was large, very clean and bedroom had 2 double beds plus a large bathroom. Only negative thing to say was breakfast charge was $25 each but loads of deli's around where you can get a cream cheese and bacon bagel for around $4. I can recommend the europa restaurant for breakfast , turn left out of hotel and it,s on next block.
