Ramada New York/Eastside

It was an awesome price for the location. Would definitely stay again.

Internet not working, hotel got me a LAM line which worked. Went out a few hours, came back to discover even LAN line not working. Spent an hour on w/ hotel tech support to having the person say that there was nothing else he could do. when i asked if there was anyone else i could speak with he hung up on me tried to use the business center but could not stay in that room which had no ventillation and about 100 degrees. tried calling tech support again with no luck. To make sure it was not my computer tried to logon wifi using kindle fire and with iphone. no luck. after check out had no problem connecting to Internet at coffee shop

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable basic acomodations at a cheap price. Hard to beat this deal!

Rooms are small but for the price and the amount of time actually spent in there it wasn't an issue. I found it to be a great price for the location.

I liked this hotel a lot. It was a good location as its not far from anything and the empire state building is a walk able distance. I stayed in the cheapest room the hotel offered as a single and it was plenty of room for one person, two if you don't need to move around much. The bed was super comfortable, enough closet space to store everything to move it out if the way and it was a reasonable price. They offer breakfast but I didn't get up before 10 but a couple blocks away there's a good bagel place. Staff was friendly to me as I walked in and out of the building ...I had no issues with anything nor needed to ask directions so.

Not a bad value. Clean and comfortable. Our room was small but we don't mind. The TV picture/reception was poor. Good location. Continental breakfast was good. The lady who cleaned our room was very nice. We were visiting our son who moved here in June.

The Ramada Eastside was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a 5-night stay and had resigned ourselves to a typical chain hotel experience. We couldn't have been more wrong. The building itself is classic, having the appearance of a vintage New York apartment building. The lobby was small but inviting. The staff was reserved but friendly and helpful. Our room was not huge but not claustrophobic and well proportioned for the furnishings - a very comfortable queen bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser with flat screen TV, a desk and chair, and a guest chair. The bathroom was small but not unusually so by New York standards. Shower was hot with good water pressure. We've paid a lot more for less. Free WiFi and cable TV with pay-per-view movies was included. So was a modest but decent breakfast in a bright, clean, if a little plain, room off the lobby, which featured two flat screen TV's tuned to different morning news programs (muted). We managed to have a satisfying meal every morning but don't expect omelets and bacon. It's bagels, toaster oven waffles and pancakes, instant oatmeal, cold cereals, muffins, toast, yogurt, fresh bananas, apples, oranges and drinks - coffee, juices, and milk. There is also a workout room that we never got to. For us the location was nice - the Murray Hill area of New York. Both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building can be seen from the street in front. We found good restaurants, grocery stores, bars and a frozen yogurt shop within a 2-3 block radius. The subway is also close. And we didn't have any noise issues at night, partly due to our 8th-floor location, but helped by being just far enough away from the busier parts of mid-town. All in all, we enjoyed this pleasant, comfortable hotel and look forward to staying there again.

2 blocks from the nearest subway station, 2 blocks from the empire state building, and most important, everything seems to be new, bedsheets, TV, iPod dock... Feels like its been remodeled recently and it offers free breakfast. It doesn't get any better. Many hotels in manhattan in the same price range are not even close to be as clean and new like Ramada Inn Eastside

We were all around Manhattan and by using the subway our hotel location was only a few blocks from the stop. It was perfect. We found out that 1 block from our hotel was a "happening" area with places to eat and numerous bars. The staff was friendly, the room was small but clean, the breakfast was substantial. The only thing that was missing was a larger lobby to hang out in and have a cocktail. We would stay again...

Fit the expectation... nothing fantastic but clean, comfortable bed, helpful staff, good stay...
