The Strand offers meeting and event space for up to 20-150 guests. Business facilities include audio/visual equipment and public computers. Facilities are ideal for a variety of events including banquets and wedding receptions. Located less than a kilometre from Grand Central Station, The Strand is a convenient option for business and leisure travellers.

Hyvä sijainti
Hyvä hotelli, uskomattoman ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Huonekuvauksessa ollutta vedenkeitintä huoneessa ei ollut, mutta pyytämällä tuli sekä veden- että kahvinkeitin kaikkine tykötarpeineen huoneeseen ilman eri veloitusta. Hotellin sijainti on myös aivan erinomainen.

Hotel très confortable avec au s/s des connections internet, des chambres parfaitement tenues, des lits avec de très bon matelas, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un excellent séjour à Manhattan. On peut se renseigner sur les choses à faire, beaucoup de conseils utiles à la réception,le personnel est très avenant. Seul bémol, le prix élevé, et quelquefois des fêtes organsiées au roof (toit du 21ième étage). ça peut faire du bruit au 19 ième

Great place!
The hotel is perfect located. We had a direct view to the Empire State Building! Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. We even could open the windows and switch off the air conditioning.

Gutes sauberes Hotel an zentraler Lage
Gute Lage des Hotels. Sauberes aber eher kleines Zimmer. Bis auf einige Kleinigkeiten im Roomservice war alles einwandfrei. Die Hoteleigene Rooftop Bar hat ist super und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf das Empire State Building. Hände weg vom Caipirinha - keine Ahnung was die da mixen.

It's okay.
The room is clean. Good location. Water temperature in the bathroom works funny; it' started extremely hot, but dropped to normal when you let the water run for like 10 minutes. The roof top bar didn't match my expectation. I will recommend going to a bar near Time Square rather than hanging out among so many business people.

Bra service på hotellet, man möttes alltid av en leende personal som frågande hur dagen hade varit. Dom hade svaren på alla våra frågor. Mäktig takterass med Empire utanför fönstren. Stora bra rum.

Es war gut, dass man vor Ort frühstücken, lunchen und dinieren konnte. So erspart man lange Gänge. Auch die Lage war optimal und alle gängigen Subways waren in der Nähe.

i visited new york with my family in march, 2013. the hotel is perfect but the the room that was too small for 2 adults and 2 children. the staff, the lounge and the restaurant are great.

Nice Location, room, and rooftop bar
The Strand was located about 10 minutes away from time square area and a train station. The hotel itself was a little fancier than the street it was on. Taxi's were hard to come by when were heading to the airport since it isn't on a major street. The rooftop is also very nice as you can see the empire state building and southeast views of the city.

Sauberes Hotel in Toplage
The Strand kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Die Lage inmitten Manhattens, 10 Minuten vom Timesquare, ist optimal. Und liegt trotzdem relativ ruhig in einer Nebenstraße. Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel. Das Personal immer hilfsbereit und stets freundlich. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältniss für NYC stimmt.
