The Norman
Comfortable and central
A very good hotel for at a resonable cost. The room was large, quiet (20th floor) and the bed was very comfortable. Details such as the double showerhead and the coffemaker with Starbucks coffee added to the positive experience. And if guidance was needed Tom (the consierge) gave good advice in a humorous fashion. With the subway only a block away the hotel is not only central to the tourist trap Times Square.

Have brunch at the 230 fift Outdoor Rooftop Bar on a Saturday or Sunday. Great view and good, traditional American breakfast.

Great stay at the Westin. Would stay again. Wish they had vending machines on each floor though.

Hotel sehr gut, Zimmer ringhörig
Lage super, Personal freundlich, Zimmer sehr schön mit toller Aussicht (haben ein gratis Upgrade in den 43. Stock bekommen). Leider extrem ringhörig! Wir hörten den Lift, jedes Wort unserer Zimmernachbarn etc.

Very accommodating hotel
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was convenient to the theater and to mid-town amenities. 8th Ave is a little dicey, but OK. There are kits of restaurants around, but we had one very nice dinner at Shula's (in the hotel).

best 24hr. vacation ever
We literally got off the bus from Boston looked up and there was the Westin. It was early, yet they had a room ready for us.We had Met tickets...on our return it's central location made decisions on where to go and what to do easy & exciting.We had a night cap in the bar then hot bath, soft robe, sound comfortable sleep. Oh yeah great views from our window.

Location is good but cleanliness need major improvment
The service express attendants in the lower lobby area by the entrance is more interested in making tips helping guest with luggages them giving out directions. If you really need help go to the front desk, they are much helpful them the services express attendants in the lower lobby. The hallway is dark and everything is brown in colour. The room attendant need training on how to clean the bathroom right. I have worked for Westin for a good 10 years when the Japanese owe it. Now, they are going down hill.

Solid choice in NYC
Lovely, comfortable accommodations. My original hotel choice on the Upper West Sidewas booked, so opted instead for Times Square.
