only 6 rooms on our floor....No fabulous view, but very quiet as we weren't on the traffic side.....hot and cold items in breakfast room....very convenient to subway stop, Herald Square (Macy's), and Madison Garden....Try the Galaxy Diner just a short walk away....Unfortunately, the room prices jumped on Friday and Saturday night and there is no refund if your plans change.

The Hotel is in a prime location...one block from Macy's and a short walk to times square and Rockefeller center. Small but quaint...would def stay there again!

We were very pleased with our hotel. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, great breakfast. Location was great for all that we had planned. Within walking distance to so many exciting places and restuarants.

Wow..what a nice surprise. My last stay at a Wyndham was in VA beach over the summer...and that hotel was awful..so awful.I wrote Wyndham and they refunded my money. SO I was a lot nervous about trying them again. But much to our surprise..the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff was awesome.especially [...] .. great guy who was really helpful. Breakfast was perfect.Hot and cold food. We were literally close to everything. We will return..

The hotel is perfectly convenient to Penn Station and midtown. Rooms are large and very clean and pleasant and quiet--a good choice in New York. But even if you think you're too tired to go out, be very cautious of the restaurant next door (Crudo) for dinner. It makes a nice breakfast room, yes. And allegedly on weekends (I was in town mid-week), there's live music that's fun and a lively scene. But on my Tuesday visit, though the restaurant sported white tablecloths and candles and an upscale-priced menu, recorded music blared intermittently from speakers--not Carribean, as advertised, but a mix of country, rap, and non-genre pop that sounded like strip-club music. The waitress was bored; the drinks expensive; the lights way too bright. The skirt steak was delicious--but I ate quickly and hightailed it out of there, as did the few other patrons I observed. Either advertize yourself as a bar with food or a restaurant--I like bars just fine, but I was looking for a relaxing dinner that night, and it didn't happen. The hotel, though, is just fine--very comfortable.

Was located perfect for our shopping and sightseeing needs. Great assistance from hotel desk staff connecting us with our desires to experience NY hotel is near Penn Station and can easily access all methods of transportation, great stores and shops nearby, and restaurants. "The buffet for breakfast was great" We shopped, took helicopter tour of city and rode metro, went to Broadway show and had a great time shopping in the fashion district. Overall hotel was very clean, beds were great, rooms great. Staff very courteous and polite. Would stay there again. Rooms were better than some we stayed in at other hotels in the city.

This hotel was great. Close enough to walk to Times Square, super close to the subway. The breakfast was wonderful! I would definately recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel; friendly and reasonably helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit chaotic (not enough seats; constantly ran out of food, drinks, plates etc.).
