We stayed at this hotel several times and at first were quite satisfied. But I have to say the construction of the hotel is horrible. The floors must be made of plywood because if you have the bottom floor you can hear every step the people above take. Also the walls are paper thin. The whirlpool rooms are poorly designed with no privacy in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

Arived early and was greeted at the desk by a friendly clerk. She welcomed me and pointed out the free breakfast. Some mildew stains in the bathroom, but nothing a good deep cleaning could take care of.

Booked a King Jacuzzi room for a Halloween weekend to celebrate our anniversary and take in some of the area wineries. The location was perfect with downtown PC just minutes away and Mon Ami about 10 minutes up the road. Ended up visiting Marblehead (25 min), and Firelands (20 min). Had we been using the Jet Express to the islands, it was just minutes away. Our biggest issue was the presence of hair in the tub, and what seemed like dog hair on the bed comforter when we arrived. I grabbed some Lysol wipes from the Dollar store across the street and wiped everything down, and the front desk attendant offered to wash the bedding, and gave us a fresh sheet set while the beadspread was in the laundry. When we got back from dinner everything was done and we were satisfied. The overall condition of the hotel is obviously older and needs some fresh carpet and paint. The smoke smell in the hallways was almost unbearable, but barely noticeable in the room especially with the help of 2 candles from the before mentioned dollar store across the street. Breakfast was great, Eggs, Sausage, make your own Waffles, and an assortment of fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt and sweets. We were very impressed that this was this good, and FREE! The only other annoyance was the key cards kept loosing their programming and we kept having to walk down to the desk to get them re-programmed. Desk folks were more than polite, but what would have happened after hours when there is no clerk on duty? All in all, for the price, I would stay there again. However, you just need to come in with lower expectations.

We had stayed here once before for our girls weekend away and it was great! The pool by the lake is AWESOME! I think rooms could use a make over new carpeting, bedding. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good as well. The other thing we thought was odd was there were smoking rooms beside non smoking rooms?? Most hotels these days have non smoking totally separated from smoking because the smell goes right through the walls, but they switched us no problems.

Very goo location next to the lake. Big king bed and 2people bathtub. Highly recommend!

The beds were comfortable. The room was nice, quiet, and relaxing. Enjoyed the view of Lake Erie from the rear deck and from our window. We would have enjoyed a small refrigerator. The walls and ceiling needed a minor cleaning. But, still enjoyed the room. Loved all the fluffy pillows! The breakfast buffet was terrific!

The staff was very pleasant!
