Holiday Inn BROWNSVILLE

The pool had a dead bird floating and was told that it was not out of service and that they clean it every other day , but look to me like weeks had gone by. So they closed it down and kicked us out to clean it, they moved us next door to the other hotel so we can use that one, its owned by the same company but different owners if that makes any sense, so ok we went off had a great time there should have stayed there instead, then we get to the room tv was not working, they had roaches in the AC, sheets where stained and had march's date on them its July by the way, went to the front desk the girl who was there didnt know what to say , she was covered all with hickies, and no management was there since the afternoon, didn't get nothing for the disappointment. Do not stay at this hotel !!!!!

It´s a little old

We needed an overnight place to rest up before a long trip to Dallas, TX. The staff were very friendly and helpful, just waiting to help out. I've stayed at many hotels in the past few years and often I've felt like the staff in certain hotels could care less if we were pleased. At Holiday Inn they cared and they did whatever needed be done. Professional, prompt and courteous service is not common today, but this visit it was exactly that.

This is an older Holiday Inn...so I was slightly worried about my choice. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very big and mine had been redone...it was clean..bed was good...towels were so much better than in most hotels..thick and nice. I requested a room away from the expressway and I never heard traffic noise. I had a nice breakfast at the Hotel..friendly service. [...] My advice..stay here... but get a room near the rear of the Hotel.

Quiet hotel, not really busy. Went to the zoo. It was really good, but hot.

I understand that children will sometimes be staying in the hotels where I stay. That being said, they should be in their rooms and quiet at 11:00PM at night when I am trying to sleep. A patrol of the halls would have been great. It would have made my stay much more enjoyable.

comfy bed and clean room is all I ask for and that's what I got. Thank you!

Stayed in the room only to sleep. Hotel is conveniently right off the interstate. Close to the mall, restaurants, and Mexico. The drive to South Padre wasn't that long either.

We stayed over night on a "girls night out." We thought it would be a nice motel because they had newly decorated rooms. The room was dirty we also asked for a iron and housekeeping never brought the iron. The girls and I have always stayed at Holiday Inn's but this is the worst one in Texas. The only thing good was that we were walking distance from the malls.

I wasn't in the room much but it was close to the mall and movies and enjoy both things.
