Enchanted Chalet in tranquil forest at Shasta Lake - Pool/Spa/Paddle Boards

Your jaw will drop when you arrive at this charming chalet hidden in its own private valley forest. The pool, spa, yard and wrap around decks will amaze. Downstairs you'll enjoy a living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath and king bedroom. Upstairs is a massive bedroom room with vaulted ceilings and two queen beds. There's also a desk if you need to do some virtual work. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, plus ladder up to the fun loft. The full bath upstairs is a work of art!

The huge yard begs you to enjoy its forest scenery and wildlife. Outside there's a BBQ and Blackstone flat top grill... perfect for cooking up big breakfasts and dinners. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Hiking and off-road trails are just few minutes from our chalet, some without getting on the freeway.

With so many places to fish, boat, jet ski and paddle board the lake is literally minutes away. Mt Shasta Ski Park is 45 minutes north. Redding is a hop, skip and jump south. Several awesome waterfalls are within an hours drive. Shasta Caverns are just 10 minutes away. A spectacular setting in all seasons...

You'll never want to leave! A few minutes off of the freeway, it's completely private lush gardens surrounded by a magical forest and gardens...

Every room in this elegant cabin has been upgraded, including the secret loft hideout that kids will love. Adults will love the big wrap around deck and spacious floor plan to chill and unwind. Your furry friends will love the big fenced area! For your protection, our video security includes one video camera on front porch that faces the front parking area and one that overlooks the driveway.

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful chalet near Shasta Lake! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and perfectly prepared for us. The home itself is comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special.The outdoor space was truly the highlight. It was lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The gardens felt like a private oasis, perfect for relaxing mornings with coffee or evenings spent unwinding. We also loved having plenty of seating areas and space to enjoy meals outside together.The location couldn’t be better! It was the perfect balance of privacy and convenience.Overall, our stay far exceeded expectations. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway at Shasta Lake!

This home deserves 10 stars if 5 stars is the scale. The photos don’t do this place justice, at all. The home is enchanting, inviting and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Shasta area. The home is well stocked and superbly clean - the listing is accurate. Larry and Chrissy are so wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating. Our family hopes to make it a yearly stay. If this place is available, BOOK IT! You will be grateful you did.

Family 4th of July trip

Pictures didn’t do the Chalet’s property justice. The Chalet and property were very “Storybook”- definitely “Enchanting l”. I loved how private it was. Felt remote but was very close to freeway. Inside of the Chalet was spacious enough for the 4 of us- my husband and I and my Sister and her husband. My Husband loved that the outside grill looked brand new!. All the appliances worked well and I loved the spacious and comfortable sectional. The beds were comfortable too!! Also loved how well the air conditioning worked and appreciated the ceiling fans too! The outside was so amazing with several comfy sofas which I enjoyed sitting on first thing in the morning with my coffee. I enjoyed all the peace and quiet and seeing all the beautiful trees and watching the birds. My family and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub!! This is a great place for families’

Beautiful Chalet in Shasta!

The chalet was absolutely beautiful! It had everything that you would need to keep kids entertained, but also allowed for relaxation for the adults. The landscape was amazing and was perfect for a large group. We highly recommended it for anyone vacationing in the Shasta Area!

Amazing place to stay

We had a great time at the chalet, the property is beautiful it is so peaceful and quiet. It’s also very close to the lake and lots of amazing places to go all around the area. Was our first time in the area and the host has a list of things/places to go and helped us find a ton of great things to do as well as great places to eat. Would highly recommend coming here, we already want to come back again.

Just Perfect

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! The home is so comfortable and clean. It also has one of the best equipped kitchen I have ever had in a VRBO. The host is very responsive and has great information about the local area. The yard is a treat- enchanting and has a great pool, hot tub and lots of deck space. We can’t wait to come back!

Loved it!

This was a great place. The location was nice and quiet but it was close to the lake and everything we needed. The landscaping was lovely, it was like being in an enchanted garden. Our kids were super happy with the loft and the fact that they could log into all their streaming services. :) We will definitely be back.

Northern California Getaway

Our 3 families stayed here to getaway explore the area. The place was absolutely wonderful. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, serene, and private. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the visiting deer and birds. The pool and hot tub were a great way to finish up our adventures fishing, hiking,exploring. The beds were very comfortable too!

The Chalet

The chalet is awesome. Where to start. Location! Easy to get to. So close to the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Wide open downstairs with plentiful seating and a large comfortable couch. Well decorated, and kitchen lacked for nothing. We were able to congregate and watch a movie or play games, or just talk. We were all in agreement that the beds were very comfortable. I woke up feeling great. lots of places to sit outside and relax. There is a back deck and a side deck where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold drink. The pool was clean and refreshing. Our stay was during the height of the summer so we spent plenty of time in the pool. Everything about the chalet is top notch. A true gem.

Birthday Retreat

Came down for a birthday weekend and used this out-of-the-way chalet as base of operations for driving all around the area. Very pleasant to come back to every day, and the host even provided some great ideas for places to ch ck out while we were there.
