Quiet and Peaceful

Pros: Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Cant fault it. Lovely pool and private beach access.
Cons: Telivisions in the room could be bigger.
Location: Not much to do nearby. Recommend you get a hire car or bike to get around. Airport is only 30 minutes away and Phukey town 45 mins
Had a fantastic break at Natai Resort. It has a private beach which is very scenic. Beautiful pool and decor all round. We stayed in a room with a pool. Very clean and spacious. If you are looking for a peaceful break and to avoid crowds, you cant go wrong with this. We had small niggly little issues but the staff was always at hand to resolve them promptly. A true testiment to how well the team within the Natai resort work. The restaurants are also nice and a sea view. A tad bit pricey but very convenient. They have 24 hour room service which is also handy. Didnt use the spa facilities as places nearby are cheaper. Had a neat little gym as well which is free to use. If we are at Phuket again, we will definately stay here again.

Schöne Anlage in mittelmäßigem Zustand

Das Hotel liegt abseits am sehr schönen, unglaublich langen und feinsandigen Natai Beach - für Ruhesuchende (Familien) optimal. Einkaus- oder Essensmöglichkeiten sind allerdings kaum vorhanden und können nur mit dem Taxi erreicht werden. Informationen darüber muss man selbst recherchieren, das Personal kann keine Restaurants empfehlen. Wer gehoben essen möchte, kann das nahe Gourmetrestaueant "Essenzi" (4 bzw 8 Gänge ohne Wein für 100 bzw 200 EUR p.P.) oder die Restaurants im Anantara Resort 13km weiter weg probieren. Das Hotelrestaurant Leelavadee bietet einfache internationale Küche, aber wenig Charme und ist von uns nur aus Mangel an Alternativen besucht worden. Die Hotelanlage empfanden wir als schön und die direkte Strandlage als fantastisch. Unsere insgeamt negative Bewertung hat folgenden Grund: Beim Einchecken um 15 Uhr war unser Zimmer nicht richtig geputzt, der Boden staubig, ein unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer und zudem eine große lebende Kakerlake neben dem Bett. Es dauerte ca 1,5h bis wir dem Hotelpersonal klar machen konnten, das wir in diesem Zimmew nicht schlafen würden und ein Ersatzzimmer erhielten. Dieses war dann extra geputzt und mit Raumduft versehen worden. Leider hat sich niemand bei uns für den schlechten ersten Eindruck (Schmutz, Geruch, Kakerlake) entschuldigt. Das Personal war bemüht, aber nur für 3-4 Sterne Standard qualifiziert.

Traumhaft schöne Hotelanlage mit großen Mankos

Fange ich gleich mal mit dem Negativen an. Das Zimmer hat muffig gerochen und die Matratze sogar richtig modrig. Im Bad waren eine vielzahl von winzigen schwarzen Tierchen, die scheinbar aus dem Bambus vom Spiegelrahmen kamen. Nachts habe ich auch noch ein paar Kakerlaken gesehen. Nachdem ich mich an der Rezeption beschwert habe, durften wir in eine Villa umziehen. Die Villa war sauber und hatte keine ungebetene Tiere als Gäste. Auch wenn der Service, das Frühstück, die Pool- und Gartenanlage und der Strand traumhaft schön bzw. gut waren würde ich das Hotel wegen dem ersten Zimmer nicht weiterempfehlen.

Perfectly lovely

This is a lovely hotel. It's not an outstanding hotel but its very nice. I was there during low season (August) so bear that in mind when reading the comments below. Service: On most days, myself or one of the other guests would have to go in search of someone to open the poolside bar just to get a cold drink. But that said, when they did arrive they were very nice and helpful. I think in high season they are probably more likely to be on top of their game. Atmosphere: The Firefly Bar is really quiet in the evenings but again that could be just because it's low season and there weren't many people around. It is the perfect destination if you want to get away from it all, eat, sleep, read and relax. Things to do: So in the immediate vincity there isn't anything in walking distance other than a walk on the beach. BUT, if you want to do some day trips, there is a great taxi rank across the road and you can negotiate with the guys for a good rate for a car and driver for the day. Food: The food in the restaurant is really good and the breakfasts were great - excellent choice and really decent coffee. For dinner, the menu is pretty extensive and everything I had was fab - and very reasonable. Main courses typically 350 TBH or €8 -can't argue with that! Gym: The gym is small but totally serviceable. Don't go too early in the morning though as the air-conditioning won't have really kicked in until around 8.30am and you'll need it!!! Drinks: If you are a wine drinker, then go to Tescos nearby and stock up for your fridge in your room. A basic bottle of an NZ Sav Blanc can cost you up to €80 in the hotel restaurant. That said the other drinks and cocktails are all reasonable, its just the wine that's expensive. I would go back again as it is perfectly lovely and the people are so nice. But for a little extra I think you could probably get more of a truly 5 star experience elsewehere.
