Good location, great host, property condition so-so

The property wasn’t maintained and cleaned to the level I would expect for a premier property. We were comfortable (the hvac worked properly) but the toilet in the master was causing us trouble, and it caused trouble for the prior guests also (plumber was there when we arrived to check in). Many areas where poor quality building materials (kitchen cabinets) detracted from the enjoyment of our stay. Bad stale odor from kitchen sink and dishwasher area. Paint job inside needs to be redone. Eating table was painted and the paint was damaged. There was nowhere to hang towels. None of these things were expected for a rental in this price range. The host was great, check in was flawless, house manual included everything we needed, and he responded quickly to our concerns.

Winter break with the family

Overall our stay was ok. A few issues that took away from the 5 starts- house isn’t in great condition, has lots of signs of wear and tear. Examples, pool table was worn down and falling apart. Cleanliness wasn’t good. Couches were dirty between cushions from previous stays with food, grime and wrappers. Fire pit was also gross and dirty with cigarettes and dirt. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in long time so we didn’t use it. Microwave and oven had food spills from previous stays. Bed in one room was broken but owner responded quickly and did have someone come fix it the next day.

Awesome weekend!

This was a great stay for our college football game weekend. There was more than enough space for our family including our small children. Everything was as it was in the pictures, very clean, very upscale and nice. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in town!!
