Description

Explore the streets of Malaga—once home to Picasso—and peek at the scenes that inspired his cubism artistic creations. This double-decker bus takes a route stocked with cultural museums, pristine gardens, and gorgeous cathedrals. Hop on, and hop off at your leisure, an unlimited amount of times in the given time period. Discover the Teatro Romano—an amphitheatre left unused since the 3rd century—still showcasing ancient architectural stones. From here, walk to the nearby Alcazaba, a Moorish fortification that currently houses a cultural museum and green gardens.

Hop off at the Museo Picasso for a look at the artist's original work. You'll also get to see Málaga Cathedral, also known as La Manquita, “The One-Armed Lady”. The cathedral’s asymmetrical façade boasts just one tower (instead of the originally planned two) earning it its nickname. This tour also allows you to gain entry to the Interactive Music Museum, where you'll get the chance to discover your musical talent!

The meeting points to catch the hop on hop off are not clearly listed... took us 3 tries to find parking and get the bus... some of the routes do not run on the weekend.... many of the plug ins for the headsets were broken, but overall the tour was good.

Not much commentary. Long periods of time with no commentary at all when we were passing interesting looking buildings. Some commentary came after we’d passed the things being explained. Ok for a general understanding of the layout of the town but felt it missed a lot.

Not worth the money. It stops too much and for too long. Avoid the stop by the train station, it lasted for 20+ minutes! Better to explore the city by feet and public transportation.
