Outstanding location

Outsanding and unique property. The views are stunning and breakfast is great. We were worried that it will be hot at night with no AC. It is higher up aka cooler at nights anyways so had no issues there (they have strong fans anyways). Super friendly staff and amazing ambience. Rustic and unique - definitely returning!

This hotel has an amazing view. Also has a big parking lot. We had a good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.The room was clean and comfortable. Only one thing we wished to have is A/C.

We had an amazing 6-day stay at Hotel Funicolare. The family suite provided to us was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — just a short drive to both Lake Como and Lugano. The views from our rooms were absolutely breathtaking. The staff was friendly, courteous, and always helpful. We also enjoyed the good breakfast each morning. We look forward to returning to this hotel in the near future. Sharing a photo of the beautiful view from each room!

Unbelievable View! Amazing breakfast!

Try finding a hotel with that view for that price anywhere in the world, the pictures just can't capture how amazing it is. Breakfast was the best I've had and worth £30+ but was included. Rooms were the cleanest by far I've stayed in and we are on a roadtrip around europe. The receptionist was very helpful and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For the fact they have only just opened I'd get in while the prices are cheap as they will surely go up with popularity. Top recommendation from the owner, go and see the Balcony of Italy that is 15mins away WOW!

Le point fort essentiel de cet hôtel est sa localisation avec une splendide vue plongeante sur le lac. L’hôtel en lui même par contre a besoin d’un relooking complet (alors qu’il a réouvert il n’y a que quelques mois, ce qui est très interpelant), la nourriture du restaurant n’est pas bonne et le service est lent, le petit déjeuné est décevant. Beaucoup de potentiel mais qui n’est pas exploité.

A la place d'une chambre avec vue sur le lac comme montrée sur la photo d'accueil, on a eu une chambre au fond de l'hôtel, avec vue sur rien du tout. Ou plutôt avec vue sur la cuisine du restaurant, avec les odeurs de la friture et de la nourriture, etc... Et vue sur le désordre... Un peu décevant en tout cas. Par contre, petit déjeuner très bien. Assez de choix. Rapport qualité/prix très bon en tout cas. Personnel très chaleureux et gentil. TOP!

Wir waren nach einer langen Anreise schon um 14Uhr angekommen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt das wir erst ab 15:00Uhr einchecken dürfen. Andere Hotels sind da etwas kulanter. Auf dem Zimmer war kein Fernsehen möglich da nur über Fire TV sich anmelden musste und es kaum Netz gab. Das Zimmer war sauber aber sehr schlicht eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders Appetitlich angerichtet. Man hat sich Mühe halt gegeben. Das beste war einzig die Aussicht die sehr schön war.

Gode familieværelser

Værelserne fine og meget rummelige, og udsigten er helt fantastisk, men det generelle indtryk når man ankommer er ikke videre god. Familiensuiten er perfekt indrettet til en familie med 2 børn, så der er børneafdeling og voksenafdeling. Der skal så lidt til at løfte det hotel til et 5 stjernet hotel. Lidt algerens, friske blomster ude, få istandsat de offentlige toiletter ville gøre meget. Men til prisen er det et godt bud til billige penge og personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Så potentiallet til højere bedømmelse er der helt bestemt.

Bel emplacement, très beau paysage, chambre et salle de bain propres et spacieuses. Seul hic la vue de la chambre sur les poubelles. Niveau repas convenable, repas cher pour ce que nous avions dans l'assiette et pour la qualité, peu de choix également, le petit déjeuner pas fou non plus. Personnel très accueillant et disponible, à l'écoute.

das Hotel ist ein älteres Hotel, toller Blickk auf den Luganer See…. Einrichtung alt, aber OK. Frühstück ausreichend, achtung krine klimaanlage in den Zimmern.
