Of the 5 lodgings we stayed in during our Beartooth Highway/Yellowstone Park trip, this hotel was the worst, and was the most expensive. The bed in our room had broken springs, and on the right side if you rolled too close to the edge it might pitch you off the bed. Bedding, pillows, and towels were cheaper quality. Parking was limited and cramped. They either need to upgrade or lower their prices, because as it is, it is a very poor value for your money.

The YRM is a delightful find! Very comfortable rooms. I slept great! I loved the retro vibe. Conventiently located to the park entrance and to the shops & restaurants. Tumbelwee Cafe, Yellowstone Perk, Eat Cafe, Wonderland Cafe all excellent.

10/10 can’t brag on this place enough!

If we come back to MT we will definitely be stopping here! I wished we could’ve spent more time here. The staff was the sweetest, the beds and rooms were so clean. They give you complimentary coffee, apple cider and hot chocolate by the office. And you can walk pretty much everywhere.

Worked with a scheduling mishap!

We stayed to check into Xanterra for the summer season in Yellowstone. They are literally right across the street from them!! We were able to walk to check in. This alone, was worth the higher price.

A Motel with a great view

The motel has a wonderful location, minutes walking to the Yellowstone sign, Roosevelt Arch and cute downtown Gardiner. The best part is a cute patio overlooking Yellowstone river, great place to watch the sunrise over the mountains with the cup of coffee that is available at the hotel all day long. Family own for three generations, friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.
