A new hotel designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma. I like the design very much. I had an issue with my first room. The staff reacted swiftly and changed our room. What’s worth mentioning is the great location. It is right on exit 12 of the 御堂筋線 metro station, from which you can reach other tourist attractions easily. The Namba area is super energetic and great for entertainment and shopping. Can’t recommend it enough to others!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. The check-in was smooth. Dotonbori is just a couple of blocks away which made shopping and dining very easy. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Overall, the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Overall it is a decent hotel. However, there are some issues. The AC constantly turns itself up (hotter) so rooms are not at the desired temperature when you return. The staff was ok, but somewhat dismissive. The buffet was not great, maybe 5 out of 10. and ended too early. At 10:00 a.m. they tell you it's last call, then they start putting away all the food and demand that you leave by 10:30. There is not enough lighting in the hallway and it is all motion detection. You can never leave the light on over the coffee machine or the refrigerator and it is very difficult to read some of the small instructions. For the money, I think there are some much better options.

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Royal Classic Osaka and loved every moment. The location is unbeatable—right above Namba Station and walking distance to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. The room was clean, modern, and quiet, with a free mini bar refilled daily. Daily breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for couples looking for comfort and convenience in Osaka!
