YEHS Hotel was a great location for all that we wanted to do in Sydney during our visit. The hotel itself was disappointing. The bathroom was not as pictured in the listing - Our shower had a curtain not a glass door and there was no toilet paper holder. The two bedroom family suite had one of the children’s beds in the same room as the parents. Cleanliness could have been better - someone else’s contact lenses were left in our cupboard. Also, the spa bubbles only stayed on for 45 seconds at a time. Don’t think we would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel had everything I needed. Christine - who checked me out - was especially attentive. But so were all the staff I interacted with - nothing was too much trouble. The only negative (and this isn’t to do with the hotel) was my room was above a busy highway and the noise kept me up at night. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs.

Penthouse had tons of bugs all over. During stay, was called on personal phone for payment for parking even though had CC on file and had already paid. :-( Very unprofessional. Things in room were broken; washer, etc. Do not recommend staying here.

Great location, but unfortunately there are a lot of smokers who stay at the hotel, our rooms stunk of cigarette smoke every evening and every morning, we had to call down to reception to enquire, but it made no difference.

Great room with separate bedroom and bathroom to the main lounge area. Kitchenette which was great if you felt like cooking. We wanted to be near Darling Harbour so the location was great. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance.

We were in a “Suite” with a kitchen but there was only one teaspoon, 2 huge bowls ( nothing to eat cereal from) 1 large bread knife. No small knife to cut cheese or vegetables. It did not matter as we did not want to cook. Staff were very helpful. We would stay here again as very Central

The location was excellent, but that’s where it ended. The photos provided by your site did not match the room given. The room dirty especially on the kitchen surfaces and in the bathroom on shower and flooring layers of dust were on the wall and mildew and damage to walling in the bathroom Carpet was ripped and lifting between kitchen and lounge space When I did hear from YEHS they said they had actually upgraded my room, I would have hated to see the original on offer, then Said if I had advised them earlier they could have changed my room, my concern is, how could they allow to rent out a room so unkept and think it’s acceptable Shame on them It was not a cheap stay either

Our rooms shower would only have the slightest amount of hot water (no pressure), and the shower head would not stay in place. So you could either have a cold high pressure shower or a warm very low pressure shower. I asked the front desk to look into this which they said they did and was fixed. I tried the shower later and found it wasn't fixed. The manager at the front desk came to show me and he had the same issues as I'd asked them to look at before. He said that everyone must be showering at the same time... this happened for 3 days and I just gave up trying.

Good space

Good space, good bed and good shower. The only negative was no shelves or ares to put things in the bathroom...just a small sink. We used the top of the washing machine but it wasn't very convenient with the doors on the way. It was a bit noisy on Level 2... street noise.
