Melinda and her property were outstanding. Genuinely impossible to beat the location here. We were in town for some concerts, but the highlight of the entire trip may have been walking to the Arkansas to dip our toes in the water on a blistering hot morning - magnificent.Lots of great little shops/restaurants downstairs or across the street. The antique shop actually had fun old things in it, the art boutiques were filled with the work of talented creators, the food scene was really surprisingly robust, and my favorite may have been long table, the coffee shop connected to the hotel and consignment store. The family running the place were actually the people pulling the espresso shots, and chatting with their patrons. Ya simply just don’t see that too often. Anyway, the property is just as advertised. After spending three nights here - If I had to find a gripe, it’s that the place can get stuffy. Yet the host provided several fans, which when combined with opening up the windows and getting air moving resolved it immediately so… can that even be a gripe? Champagne problems in my opinion, but it may not be ideal for people who’ve come to expect precision climate control. I’ll absolutely be back to spend a day flyfishing the Arkansas and trying the hot springs. Couldn’t be happier with my choice. Thanks again!
