This was, without question, one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, despite having a confirmed reservation, my room was not available and I was forced to wait over 20 minutes with no clear explanation or apology. The valet was shockingly rude, and the front desk staff treated me with visible attitude and zero professionalism. To make matters worse, the elevator was out of service—an issue that was not disclosed ahead of time. The level of disorganization and lack of basic courtesy from the staff clearly points to poor management. I expected far better and will absolutely not be returning.

Great price for a great location

We were welcomed and helped by staff, and check in/out was easy. Previous reviews complained of the elevators being slow but we had two working elevators that worked just fine. Our room had a great view of the sears tower and it's a great location. The pool was a bonus, although it was quite crowded. The breakfast was great and they even had a social night for guests one of the nights we were there. We had hot chocolate from the lobby everyday.

The room was clean and so nice to have a full kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was small but adequate. The view on the 17th floor was great. Staff at the desk and Valet were amazing and so helpful. Walking distance to museums. We took a bus tour to th magnificent mile and around the city which was so worthwhile. Breakfast was very good and there was a social one evening with food. Walking felt safe to a grocery nearby.The hotel restaurant which served Asian foods was great. Good experience and would definitely recommend. We didn’t love paying 70 a night for parking but the is just status quo for Chicago. It was nice to have the pool for the kiddos
