The whole building smelt of cigarette smoke ,staff was not helpful or polite worst stay I ever had in a hotel no outlets for phone or laptop chargers outlets were loose ,every trash can was overflowing the whole time of my stay if I was in charge of Clarion I would bulldoze the place to the ground and start over

My non-smoking room smelled musty and like stale smoke and when I informed the front desk they said “what you are you in? Oh yeah that room… we’ve cleaned it so many times but there was someone staying in there for a while that didn’t care about the smoking fine. There’s not much I can do for you it’s in the woodwork” and they did not even check to see if any other room was available. I am asthmatic and the smell of stale smoke makes me lightheaded.

The first room I was in the sheets had hair and some other debris all over. The front desk staff was nice and moved me to another room. The other room’s outlets were limited in access or nonworking. I couldn’t charge my phone nor use the hair dryer since the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work and the outlet I could get to, nothing could stay plugged in. The elevated and hallway smelled like weed.
